With the NFL Vikings enjoying a 4-0 start, this is a perfect time to note I'm a long-suffering Viking's fan, going back to the 80's, just after they stopped being great & have spent many years only being good. THIS COULD BE THE YEAR! (Probably not, but maybe...) #Vikings

Now returning to Damien Black's The Broken Stone Chronicle to read the bk4, Witch's Moon Calling, the last book available as we wait for the bk5 series conclusion. It's been a heck of a ride so far! Final book anticipated by 2027, maybe still this year. #fantasy #SFF

Finished Magic Strikes, Kate Daniels Bk3, by Ilona Andrews. Best yet in this series. Authors are channeling the best of urban fantasy - intriguing mysteries, incredible battle scenes, humorous sexual tension. Totally digging this series - hard to stop reading! #urbanfantasy #SFF

Finished City of the Dead, Brian Keene's The Rising Bk2. Interesting. Enjoyed reading this extension of The Rising. Well-written, brisk, relentless in its tension — a worthy zombie apocalypse novel. And the ending. Glorious and terrible at the same time. #horror #zombieapocalypse

Finished Angel Down. Definitely gets filed under "appreciated, but didn't enjoy" category. Much to say about horror & futility of war. And human nature. Fine work of literature, but wasn't my thing. I'll do a review once I figure out what to say... #AngelDown #historicalfantasy

Finished The Shadow of What Was Lost, by James Islington, The Licanius Trilogy bk1. Wow. I've had this author's books on my TBR for years. Finally dove it. This was INCREDIBLE. Worldbuilding, characters, plot, magic, mystery, action, twists — all amazing. So good! #fantasy #SFF

Exactly. I’ll give someone a couple of chances, but if they just wanna keep bringing it, none of us wanna have to look at that. Too bad. They only ruin the fun for themselves.

I’m a patient person. Love good dialogue. Don’t need people to agree with me. But what I can’t stand is arrogance. Just blocked & muted 1st ever person from our YT channel. Condescending, only his opinion could possibly be right. He didn’t have opinion, just “facts.” Sigh. 😔 #ContentCreator #sff
