Knowing Wolfy prefers uncomfortable places to lounge, I put two shallow boxes down next to each other. She wasted no time getting "comfortable" #Caturday #MamasLittleWeirdo

Tabby cat lounging in a pair of shallow cardboard boxes placed next to each other, the touching sides of the two boxes are located under her belly.

It was my partner's birthday yesterday, and I got him a cake. Over all? This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.

A black forest cake: round, covered in whipped cream and chocolate shavings, with several cherries on top each sitting in a little poof of whipped cream. A line, tall candle sticks up out of the middle.

Anyway, this cake is great it's so delicious and moist!

This is EGS Recursive Echo. This pattern is super versatile! You can make one big square, make some medium sized squares joined together (see pic), make smaller squares and join together, or substitute it into any pattern that calls for granny squares with 5+ rounds. www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

Part of the “Eventually Granny Square” series, this pattern was inspired by a sense of enveloping, of a warm hug from all of my family.

This nifty blanket is a lot less complicated to make than it looks! If you can do double crochet and chain stitches (and a few single crochets), you're all set. www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib... #CrochetPattern

There is a mosquito in my office. I am so unappealing to mosquitos that out of everything on my desk, it skipped my hands, and landed on the computer mouse. I wish I knew why this happens, so I could share it with others! (Am I stuck in a Corner Gas episode?)

Wolfy likes this blanket more than her expression would lead you to believe! (The blanket is: www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib... , btw). #Caturday
