We have made it to the end of the week. So here’s the back end of a frog to brighten up your Friday. 🐸

This is Darla’s butt. She is a snowflake White’s treefrog. Seriously look at her adorable little butt cheeks and matching freckles.

So this has been a very difficult year for anyone who is capable of empathy. Every day is a fresh trauma. Just gotta survive until things get better. May this frog butt give you some joy 💗

Today is Darla’s gotcha day! I adopted her 6 years ago, and she’s at least 10. Yesterday I took her to the vet. She is getting fatty deposits on her eyes, which is common in older frogs. She doesn’t seem bothered by it and is still a very happy frog. Here’s one of my favorite pictures of her. 🐸

Darla the froggo soaks in water in a miniature bathtub. Her mouth is open wide and it looks like she is very happy. I would be this joyous too if I didn’t have to deal with daily trauma of ~gestures wildly~

Sometimes, making memes cheers me up. A friend today reminded me that joy is a great form of resistance.

Just not to fascists.
