They’ve had this problem in Portland (OR) where my sisters live, too. The cost of buildout and leases exceeds the need/economics of actual retail.

Was lucky enough to see and hear Dr. John over the years; none like him. A memory pic or two on his birthday. 2015 at CHS Field with a P&S breaking the rules and 2010 at the Dakota, shooting film.

Never went to the big ones. Three high schools in three states in three years. Did go to a meetup of a couple classes of final last summer; best friend (a year behind) asked me to go w him. Ran into a woman I was in a play with, and recognized her immediately (and she looked great & told her so).

New phone. Not fully operational. Meaning the stupid eSIM install screwed up and I’ve got to call an 800# during business hours. So it’s not actually a phone yet 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️.

Christopher Ludtke @fantailmedia.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

Keep hoping the Tangerine Turd and his ketamine addicted puppet master were in a plant crash together. Meanwhile, I’ll keep photographing shows, to hang on to my sanity🤷🏻‍♂️.

If you fail to vaccinate your children, and they get sick (or much worse from a preventable disease), you’re an unfit parent. Signed, a parent (of now adult children).

If I’d have bet in 1981, when I bought this David Johansen album, that I’d still be alive in 2025, I’d have said the odds were…poor. Surprise, suprise; I’m still here (and still in 32” waist jeans), and the record still rocks.

Me, in front of the turntable spinning “Here Comes The Night”.

I’m a ways from “actually collecting the maximum Social Security age” anyway (and if they take that away, “punching” Republicans will become a thing, if I live long enough).
