Look at this dumb nerd, thinking he's hot stuff :v #myart #sonic #sonicoc

Ztick may be the evil sidekick of a supervillain but he still has other hobbies, like gaming, or taking selfies showing off how pretty and fashionable he is!

So here he is posing like he's climbing a table and sticking his tongue out, almost as if teasing "You can't handle all this".

He's so flamboyant, I love him.

It was a lot of fun working on a new pose and getting to show off Ztick's outfit a bit more, he's trying to give off idol vibes, very gay idol vibes :v

Ztick may be evil, a lackey to the Chaos Council, but man he knows how to look good while at it. Or at least he likes to think so. I'm indulging a lot in my OCs lately and I am quite happy with them! #myart #sonicoc #sonicprime #soncthehedgehog #sonicartist

In our rp group, Ztick works directly under Dr. Don't, his name essentially comes from "joystick".

As he gets older he adapts a more feminine fashion style (he's gay) and starts to get a more confident, flamboyant personality.

I wanted to reflect that here! He's on a hover chair in one of the computer rooms in the Yoke tower and he's taking a moment to essentially take a selfie, with a V sign and a very smug cross legged pose lol.

He wears googles with digital leds tracking and showcasing his eyes because the pollution of New Yoke City has damaged his eyes to the point the googles protect them and keep them moist, without them, he can't see and feels like his eyes are burning.

I should consider making more cyberpunk-ish art, because I'm having such a fun time playing around with neon ambience lights!

I hope y'all enjoy this piece!

Artist Spotlight - @fanneyplum.bsky.social Fanney's art is very fun. The line work and the shading gives her art so much personality. Having a nice comic book look. Her art is always fun to look at and I love seeing her different style like her Sonic Channel art. I also really like her OCs. ^^

Remaking really old art is turning out to be a lot more fun, so here's another one! 2011 (left) vs 2026 (right) Azura is not just a robot monkey, she's a fish monkey! More details in the alt text! #myart #srmthfg #fanart #oc #neon #oldvsnew

Back in 2011 I didn't have a tablet or the means to scan traditional drawings into the computer, so I went for the next best thing!

I had learned how to use Flash to make art, and I was having so much fun with it, I went as far as to experiment with lineless art!

The Idea I had for this piece was Azura using her claws to manipulate water around her, or simply generate waves of liquid energy to throw at enemies.

Ofc because all of it is in the same color, it ended up not looking the way I envisioned, lol, also I was terrible at backgrounds so I would just make them transparent PNGs

Despite everything, this is the happiest I had been with robot monkey art!

So what gave me the idea to make Azura into a fish/sea monkey was that in one episode of srmthfg they had gone into an undersea adventure, as they descended they spotted sea monkeys, and that gave me the idea!

Azura used to live in an underwater city before getting captured and turned into a robot monkey, her hands turn into liquid energy and she controls how sharp or "watery" they are, hence the neon glow.

For this remake I felt it would be best to remove the attempts at a water attack and just make it a good old fashioned action lunge, with the added effect for the claws of course!

I'd say I'm quite happy with the results! She's usually calm and collected, but in battle she will look annoyed, like any threat to her is more of an inconvenience to her research.

I should do more robot monkey art, specially of her!

Now that Coraline has a proper new look, I thought it'd be cool to remake the first artwork I ever made of her! More details in the alt text! #myart #sonic #sonicoc #art

Ages ago I made this pic, it was meant to be a new look for my main robot monkey OC, but as a friend and I took a closer look, we turned it into its own character, and next thing we know, Coraline was born.

https://www.deviantart.com/roler42/art/Midnight-music-278286742

This is a remake of that pic, now with actual knowledge on how to do posing, lighting, and even background!

You have no idea how much I used to struggle to make backgrounds... I'm still ways to go, but i'm getting there!

Coraline is checking her phone waiting for her new bodyguard to arrive before her midnight shift at her nightclub, he better be stronger than the last one, she does have enemies!

Same as the previous pic, just without her jacket!

Coraline is standing next to a lamp post, checking her phone while waiting for her new bodyguard to arrive!
