The new rules for the 'triple lock' have been very cleverly explained to me via a YouTube video and I have nothing to complain about. Seems sensible to me. It basically re-adjusts over time to the wage increases that rather continually tracking above it once wages are setting the floor.

I'd also say looking at the fiction this way makes it better the less players you have as bringing the myth intimate or epic in this way for less characters works better than for more. Attaining the richness if it sort of demands less of them as protagonists.

I am waffling but the beauty of it is the small is made epic through the personal and the epic is made real through it still being personal to the character . The idea and system intersection finally solved who my Exalted are. Which is fun.

Basically, while not exactly the same it's sort of Exalted through the model of Gandalf rather than the Dragonball Z I'd Exalted or making them like the X-Men. At that point Creation does become a rich, wondrous and in some ways terrifying myth-based fantasy setting.

You have the principle of brinigng the myth but small intimate expressions are as powerful as the flash ones. You're sorting of bringing the myth before defaulting to spectacular things. Quite often it might be subtle reactions, cool little things, expressions in intimate moments.

It makes things intimate and expression of something deeper to the setting rather than Charm X or superpower Y. The Queen of Storms theme may see the Exalted rise to the top of a mountain in the winds or just tell the village the rain will come and both are frickin' cool.

The expression of origin and adventure themes means Exaltation doesn't erase the person The daughter, apprentice, wanderer, sibling, friend, fool, farmer, etc. remains important. In a way the myth grows out of Exaltation but doesn't replace the person or those elements in the fiction.

Look at it this way. Exalted are (through greatness themes) people whose legends have become powerful enough that Creation itself has begun to answer them. In this sense it works harmoniously with the system and ironically becomes more Exalted than Exalted.

I have now fully persuaded myself that Exalted: A Legend in the Mist campaign makes perfect sense. I know, you're all thinking I am crazy, but this is one of my inspired by things so don't take Exalted literally.. ..locked the framing down. I confident.
