There's only one movie I've seen in the cinema and have absolutely zero recollection of: Dreamcatcher. I only know for sure I saw it cause the release date lines up with the cinema trip I remember nothing about, and it was definitely a Stephen King adaptation.

Any amount of time in homelessness is a disaster, but over a year is a childhood destroyed. And every decision the Government makes exacerbates the issue. You'd have to be naive in the extreme to think they want to fix it at this stage.

Homeless figures continue upwards, while the Gov holds a special Dáil session to discuss fuel excise duty. I think back to the workshop I did with a group of kids experiencing homelessness, & how some were in that same group last year too. The numbers tick upwards, & some get stuck there for years

Just finished writing another season of kid's radio, meaning in the last couple of years I've written 63 episodes across 3 of my own series: Galaxy Fest, Storytime Takeover, and Ranger Rae & the Wildlifers. Still a ways to go to match my Callans Kicks total, for which I wrote over 200 sketches

The likes of Crowe and Canney make it very hard to talk about this kind of stuff with any nuance. Similar to when you see a playground being burned out, or even people voting for the likes of Hutch. People engage in angry name calling & dismiss any context or nuance as being supportive of the crimes
