I just hope that other mods can pick up those same skilled people that made Calamity what it was. Hopefully more people explore the other mods for the game that are out there and help them grow like Calamity did. It's just awful that 2 horrible, selfish people wound up destroying such a great mod.

Whatever continuation could even possibly happen would just forever have this shadow looming over it. Almost all the people who made the mod what it is have basically left at this point or are pulling their work entirely. It's the type of mod that can't really just be picked up by anyone else.

Calamity Mod dying in the way that it has is such an awful shame. Genuinely one of the most talented modding teams around that got constantly beaten down by awful people all around. It's sad to see peoples hard work and passion be spoiled because of just 2 people.

Even if you think someone wants to be alone it's always possible that you are wrong, and it's far worse to be wrong and leave someone feeling abandoned than it is to be right and just be a bother for a moment. This especially is true if you KNOW they're going through something.

The reality was i DIDN'T want to be alone, but i was feeling so bad that i just couldn't start conversations without just feeling like a bother. I just sit there watching all my friends having fun doing stuff together while i'm left wishing i was more normal and more capable.

I haven't been good at responding to people for a while thanks to everything around me falling apart, but even before then when I was having bad periods and i didn't start conversations as much, when i would usually come back i would be met with people going "oh we assumed you wanted to be alone"

If I'm to ever give one piece of advice in life it's to never ever assume someone wants to be alone. I have this issue a lot where people assume i want to be alone or not involved in things to people don't reach out or invite me to stuff. And it's an incredibly crippling thing to handle.

Nothing comes of being sat around wishing for things that will never happen. All it's going to do is make my life harder. I don't have parents anymore. IRL I don't really have friends and i only have a small family. This is the most alone I've really felt in my entire life.

I've spent days upon days wishing it was all a bad dream. Hoping that it was all a mistake and that actually i would get a phone call telling me he was actually fine and recovering. But that's not really how the world works. I'm sort of left with no real choice but to just, move on.

He knew me better than I did. He knew what i could handle and what i couldn't, how to handle sensitive topics with me. When i moved house he was instructing my family on how to help make things easier for me without me even realizing. I was all he had and he was basically all I had.

For a while days felt... hollow, nothing felt like it was reality anymore. I was just going through motions that felt like living. My life with him has been complicated, I didn't always get along with him, but he was probably the most important person I had in my life.

As you can probably guess from the art and past posts on my account, I lost my Dad. It's been very strange. I don't think there's ever anything in life that can truly prepare you for losing someone so close to yourself. I've lost family members before but, nothing has ever felt like this.
