Not a “solo” bok choi recipe, but I usually use in ramen and other soup recipes. I chop it and sauté with garlic and ginger. Then I freeze it for later OR add meat (uncooked, partially cooked, fully cooked) and sauté for a couple of minutes and then add water and cook noodles per instructions.

I’m actively choosing to not address the absolutely criminal idea that school children shouldn’t be fed and can rack up debt over lunch 😡 But! This is not surprising. Our current justice system is built on this idea that incarceration is tied to rehabilitation. This reminds me of the quilters in MO.

Welp, those connections kept charging them and saying they could help until the company ran out of money, when they finally admitted the company wasn’t getting that contract restored. They laid me off right after that. Everyone who stayed is still on furlough, a year later. (End)

The company I worked for had a govt contract that was being severely mismanaged. Got defunded due to D*G€. They immediately laid off over half the employees and put everyone else on furlough except me and a few others. Kept saying they had connections in the 47 administration. (1/2)

Oh my! Today has been a doggone day! I’ve been away for almost 2 months, providing support for my family. I’ve been crying all day after the news of our favorite Auntie, Dolly, and my friend invited herself over and showed up with her challenging toddler. 😳 I’d like to shut down for 36 hours now.

I am fascinated by this question. My family has had 3 overlapping cats. Yowly, Growly and Catastrophe. Yowly had a drawn out midwestern way of speaking. Growly has a clipped bawlmore way of speaking. Catastrophe has a loud, aggressive Texan way of speaking. They def don’t understand each other so C

to watch a movie. THE PEOPLE AT THE SUMMER DAYCARE loaded us in the van and dropped is off. We were told “don’t worry, we’ll tell your parents where you are”. Spent all afternoon at some strangers house and were the last to be picked up. Inappropriate movies were the least of our worries!

My nephew thinks I am a super saiyan level liar when I tell him some of the things we experienced as kids. Hours and hours of being unsupervised outside. Parents had no idea where we were or what we were doing. Drinking water out of a hose. One time some random adult invited a bunch of us over (1/2)

There were so many people walking around the office the next morning looking stunned. Saying they were up all night with their kids, who were crying and terrified. A vocal magat started chanting Trump’s name in my and another WOC colleague’s face, asking me if I was going to move. It was so terrible

You can take possession the same day as your appt if you are able to get an expedited service appointment. The trick is, which passport office you go to. You do not need to go to the office closest to you. DO NOT GO TO THE DC OFFICE! Make an appt at literally any other office and you should be ok.

My dad would insist on driving around after church to look at Christmas lights. Service started at like 10:3pm, so it was usually past midnight/1am when we rolled through. He loved to drive through our old neighborhood and talk trash about the neighbors who didn’t have lights up.
