The weird emails treating me as a beginner whose just signed up never cease to amaze me. I’ve added 10 hints huh? Since 2002? On a tree with 6,242 people on it? You okay, hun?

I checked out the updated 'ethnicity update' from #Ancestry, but concerned that it's been hallucinating again because if i click the 'we found a potential ancestor ancestor' green block on the bottom left, it points me to the husband of my 1st cousin twice removed. #genealogy

Wish Ancestry would believe me that my Mother is connected to me via my maternal side, and my Father is connected to me via my paternal side. It is never convinced and just keeps going with it's angry looking ⚠️ #genealogy #ancestry #FamilyHistory #DNA

Ok sleuths.... this rather ornate trophy for an 1895 tug of war match is lurking in the archive of @littleportsociety.org.uk ... without provenance and without detail. I've no idea how it refers to Littleport, but want to know what or who NACPU West Kensington branch is? (Yes, i've googled it!)

The analysis from #AncestryDNA is more granular for my family, although there do appear to be some oddities - remember it is a roulette, meaning that some DNA gets rolled in, some gets rolled out with each generation. Here's my testers' 2023 vs 2025. #DNA #genealogy
