I create the hottest character I've ever made in my life and no one will look at my cartoon pitch until I have more clout lmao fml Valarie Bellum, Queen of Monsters. #monstermatch #monster #ocart #pinup #digitalpainting

THEN vs NOW featuring Rainy! One of the first characters I ever made for Red Hill. I think I've come a long way as a digital painter in the last 2 or so years. I didn't know what I was doing back then so I over rendered the hell out of everything lol #oc #monstergirl

I think my favorite part of worldbuilding is making places feel like they have stories happening even when the main characters aren’t there. Red Hill lives here: redhillcomic dot com #IndieComic #Webcomic #Worldbuilding #FantasyArt #ComicArt #CreatorOwnedComics #MakingComics #ComicWorldbuilding

Avatacis Thank you for the commission A5ylumPri5oner, if I could get paid to paint monsters all day I'd die happy. Loved drawing the big guy. #art #artsky #commission #monster

You embrace the Hill with one hand and shield it with the other... We give eternal thanks to our Protector... Queen... -and mother... Still one of my favorite 2 page spreads. This was from comic 1 and we're on issue 4 now. Red Hill lives here: redhillcomic dot com #IndieComic #FantasyArt

I've been pretty good at keeping the streaming schedule lately. Missing a day here and there, but I'm pretty proud with how consistent I've been! But uhh... that being said, I won't be streaming tomorrow LOL

Apologies for the re-uploads tonight folks, I wasn't sure why some of the pictures I uploaded looked hella scuffed, but I THINK I figured it out

010

FamiliarTerms @familiarterms.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I've had a number of people ask me for references of my vtuber and nowhere to point them. Lol whoops. Anyway, hi, it's me! #vtuber #envtuber #characterdesign

I tried to do art fight this year and I was so embarrassed when my computer broke and I couldn't draw or upload anything for the whole month. I might as well upload this, it's the only thing I got done and I couldn't even upload it in time lol, it's Archangel Jophiel by mariareichan on art fight

Some close-up moments of life in the city of Rivergrove. I take worldbuilding seriously and I try to make it feel like you could walk into any of the locations in my comics and imagine yourself there. Red Hill lives here: redhillcomic dot com #IndieComic #Webcomic #Worldbuilding #FantasyArt

I've had this idea for a vtuber for a while now. I think it would be cool if the eye/head tracking worked on the mime and the mouth tracking worked on the harlequin. I think utilizing the hand tracking for a literal hand puppet would be really neat too! 🤡🎉

I won a grant for a short animated film and I wanna talk about it a bit! It's called "The Tale Of Blippo" and it's about a little glassblower with severe social anxiety. I hope you check out the work I've done so far because I love Blippo so much (1/9)

I was talking with someone about getting faster at sketching and painting today. I was rewatching some old videos that helped me get faster and wanted to test myself with a no reference 1 hour speedpaint. I uhh... cheated a bit though and wound up taking about 1.5 hours 😅

Come for the mysterious new streamer, stay because you've become emotionally invested in whether I will draw the Shrimpeal again.

000

FamiliarTerms @familiarterms.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

How do I gain the charm, dignity, and appeal of the humble Shrimpeal?

I just wanted to draw both versions of Mac. I don't know why he's doing the fusion dance... What would he even become?

My PC is like a thoroughbred racehorse in that it's very fast, but if it trips on a pebble in the road it is going to fall and break all of it's ankles and die

my life has entered its PC hardware failure arc. At this point the broken computer is a supporting cast member

Does it count as building anticipation for my vtuber debut if I stand very still at the end of this dark hallway?

020

FamiliarTerms @familiarterms.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

It took me forever to find a style that's both fast for me and also and looks good. I can do at least a page a day in the new style. That means I'll be able to finish this comic series in 5 years vs 20 LOL . . #RedHillComic #ArtProgress #OldVsNew #DigitalArt #ArtComparison #ArtImprovement
