I am, in fact, alive. Here's a WIP to prove it. Hoping to find the time to finish this in the next couple of days.

A woman with dark hair, blue eyes, and red lipstick looks directly at the viewer.

So, I had some fun with a silly pinup idea ✨ #pixelart #ドット絵 #brart #1bit #oc

"A mysterious woman stands languidly in a darkly lit room. Her left hand is running through her incredibly long and full hair, almost clutching it. She is wearing a small red dress which is hugging her curves tightly. She's wearing red lipstick on a wry smile, her hair covers her face in darkness, only her mouth and gently closed left eye are visible. "

Changing after getting caught in the rain

This is a pixel art piece of a blonde woman in a schoolgirl outfit. She is wearing a white collared shirt, that is partially see-through because she got caught in the rain. Her breasts are poking out of the shirt, which has the first few buttons undone. She is also taking off her panties and giving the camera a surprised look while blushing, as if she has been caught changing.

I'm alive and here's the WIP to prove it! This is going to be a lighting nightmare, but you have to do it. You just gotta.

In this pixel art WIP, a nude woman stands with her back to us in the mouth of an alley. In front of her spreads the city, sprawling skyscrapers that soar into the heavens. A low flying blimp is also visible. This is going to be a pain in the ass to actually render.

Last one for the month, the June 1-bit collage. They've been grouped by subject and one piece was tweaked from its original post. #pixelart #ドット絵 I was actually surprised with how these turned out. I'm glad I pushed through after the Vikki portrait instead of writing off the format.

A collage of 1-bit pixel art pieces, broken down into a group of 3 'Angel' pictures and 3 'Pretty' pictures.

The Angel pictures show a huge cosmic angel-esque creature floating through space, encountering a floating rock populated by tiny little figures. All three images are grouped together in a box.

The Pretty pictures showcase a supernatural entity with flaking skin and empty eyes. Two images are grouped together, implying a causal link: the image introducing the character, surrounded by the text 'Am I Pretty?', with the second showing a child offering the creature a flower, clearly smitten. The third image is boxed by itself, showing a close-up of the creatures jaw and upper torso.

And here's June's portraits collage. Again, only four, and I'm double-dipping on Lilly, but I was really happy with how the hair rendering turned out for her, so I figured I'd throw her in. #pixelart #ドット絵 1-bit collage to come later.

Four pixel-art portraits of women. From the top-left clockwise, we have renditions of Lilly Wahrenburg, Mary Amber, Ekaterina Zueva, and Vikki Blows.

It's the end of the month, so it's collage time! Here's June's 'big' pieces. Not as many as I hoped. It's been busy. #pixelart #ドット絵 Each piece uses 14 colors. The plan was to develop a better sense of color value. I'll post the portrait and 1-bit collages later.

Three pixel art portraits of nude women. From top-left and going clockwise, they are labelled 'Lilly', 'Emily' and 'Elizabeth'. Lilly is sat on her feet and mostly facing away from the viewer. Emily is wearing platform shoes and stands tall and proud. Elizabeth is lying on her side.

Danse Macabre #pixelart #ドット絵

A broken doll dances while being swallowed by the dark. Something sinister seems to lurk inside it.

POV: You told her she was pretty and she believed you.

A 1-bit pixel art close-up of a woman with a long neck and a very, very wide smile. The skin on her face seems to be peeling or melting, and her chest is covered in strange splotches - maybe splatters or lacerations.

You can draw beautiful women AND horrors beyond comprehension. You don't have to compromise.

A 1-bit pixel art rendition of a rotting Kuchisake-onna. Her mask is off, exposing her wide smile. The text 'Am I Pretty?' is repeated over and over in the background.

A grayscale pixel art rendition of a nude woman. She stands confidently against an abstract background, wearing only a pair of platform shoes. She has shoulder length hair.

The Angel Trilogy but as a 'comic'. It was a fun lil' mini-project and I think I'll be looking at 1-bit art more in the future. 3 panels, 128x128px each. #pixelart #ドット絵 #1bit

A 1-bit pixel art comic composed of three loosely connected panels.

Panel 1: We see the back of a decaying angel-like creature floating in space. It has the number 01 engraved on the back of its head.

Panel 2: The creature looms over an island populated by tiny figures.

Panel 3: The face of the creature opens up to reveal an enormous maw, dwarfing the tiny island.

With this one, I had no idea what I was doing and it shows. Still, glad I did it. One day I'll work out hair rendering in a way I actually like. #pixelart #ドット絵 Based on a photo of Ekaterina Zueva. 128x128px, 16 colors.

One of those 'you could tweak it forever' pieces, so I went the opposite direction and just simplified it down towards the end. Despite that, this is probably the proudest I've been of a piece in a long time! #pixelart #ドット絵 Based on a photo of Elizabeth Elam. 320x160px, 14 colors.

Here's a WIP. Strong 'upward angle Frieren' energy, but it's slowly coming together. This crop is 70x70px, the whole thing will probably be 320x160px.

I've had a lot of 1-bit art on my timeline so I wanted to give it a go, and I have to say: wow, it's hard. Huge respect to the 1-bit artists. I think I'll stick to 4+ colors! #pixelart #ドット絵 #1bit Based on a photo of Vikki Blows. 128x128px, 2 colors.

A pixel art portrait of a woman. Only two colors are used, which is useful because she has black hair. She looks slightly off-center from the camera and has one eyebrow arched, if you squint.

I'm not exactly thrilled with how this one turned out, but I'm glad I did it anyway. #pixelart #ドット絵 Based on a photo of Mary Amber (although I think it ended up looking more like Ashley Johnson). 128x128px, 16 colors.

A less salacious crop of last night's piece that I think works pretty well as a stand-alone. Almost looks like an album cover! #pixelart #ドット絵 Based on a photo of Lilly Wahrenburg. 128x128px, 14 colors.

A portrait of a woman, taken from behind. Her eyes are closed and her torso is turned slightly to her right. She is glancing down. Her hair is styled in a dark bob that frames her face.

Here's a lil' WIP. This crop is 90x90px, the final piece is 320x320px. I'm learning a lot about value but not much about hues... Maybe I'll colorize this one in the future.

A crop of a larger piece, this pixel art side-view portrait shows a woman with a bob haircut and closed eyes glancing down towards the ground with her eyes closed. The image is grayscale and uses 13 colors from an expected 14.

Here's a collage of May's non-portrait pieces. Turns out May was a productive month! There's some nice ones mixed in with the not-so-good ones. My favorite is probably Galaxy Girl. I also modified the Grace picture to have a less weird arm. #pixelart #ドット絵

A collage of my non-portrait pixel art pieces in May. Featured are Galaxy Girl, Grace from RE9, a two-shot of 2B and A2 from Nier Automata, and pictures based on Lucy Pinder and Jayra Brooke.

These full bodies always seem a little lackluster compared to the portraits, but there's only one way to get better at them. Here's 2B and A2. I think this is my first two-shot? #pixelart #ドット絵 #nier Based on a photo of the Irimia sisters. 160x240px, 14 colors.

2B and A2 from Nier Automata sit back-to-back against an abstract backdrop. They're nude, but cover their breasts with their hands and are sat at an angle that self-censors.

Yeah, I think this current piece is going to take the rest of my time this month, so here's a collage of May's portraits. #pixelart #ドット絵

A collage of 4 160x160 pixel art portraits. Clockwise from the top-left, they depict Grace from Resident Evil 9, a character based on a portrait of Emily Erickson, Myrtille Revemont, and Lune from Expedition 33.

The first two portraits have been modified from their original posting, adding 10 pixels to each dimension so they match the 160x160 format used in the latter two.

One of those 'if I keep poking at it, I'll go mad' kinds of picture. You might as well call this one 'Banding Hell', but I think this piece turned out really well in the end. The last portrait of May (maybe). #pixelart #ドット絵 Based on a photo of Myrtille Revemont. 160x160px, 14 colors.

An afternoon out on the lake. #pixelart #ドット絵 Based on a photo of Lucy Pinder. 120x210px, 16 colors.

A nude woman sits on a very low pier. She is leaning forward and her long brown hair obscures one side of her face. Her toes barely touch the water's surface, causing it to ripple. The artist spent too long working on the planks and they didn't even turn out that great. He also seems to have a poor understanding of scale.

I sat down to draw something new, looked at yesterday's post, got annoyed, and relit the lady. Sometimes it's hard to know when a piece is 'done'. #pixelart #ドット絵 90x150px, 16 colors (still, after some juggling)

A woman stands on a balcony with her back to us. She is naked, but a combination of a sliding door and careful framing provides censoring. The moon hangs in the sky above a greyscale cityscape in the distance, casting a halo of light around the woman.

A version more appropriate for polite society. Grace hides from some zombies, but now she's a little more equipped to handle them. #ResidentEvil #pixelart #ドット絵

Grace from Resident Evil 9 in a run-down mansion. She is hiding around the corner from two zombies. She's wearing a suit jacket and t-shirt, and holds her gun up to her chest..
