The new, ethereal tone seeping into his voice took her by surprise, but not in a bad way. It, in fact, gave her some peace knowing she too was of an ethereal nature as well. She squeezed his hands for a second, her smile brightening as she stared into his luminous eyes. Stela then moved closer to-

Stela's eyes lit up the smallest bit, and she took the ice pack and placed it on her head before taking a sip of the water. A small smile appeared on her face from appreciation!

Though she's still feeling a little weary, her state of mind is better than the past few days. But as she reads through a book tonight, sitting underneath a tree... her mind keeps wandering, worrying...

Oh! That was unexpected! Stela blinked with surprise, then looked around for a way to get the ability too. But lo and behold, there was a Sir Kibble nearby, and she captured it for herself and gained the Cutter ability! She smiled to Tsuki, getting into a battle stance. "Ready!"

Stela had been passing through with what looked like a book in her hands as well. Flowers adorned the cover; perhaps it was a book about gardening or botany. She didn't even see him as she sat by the trunk of the same tree purely by accident. The celestial opened to a new page, smiling already.

His words struck a chord in her crackling heart; this was one of the most heartfelt speeches she had ever heard. The hopeful feelings they instilled in her made her tears flow down one last time, and when she heard him move towards the ground and then opened her eyes... That toothy grin, that-

Seeing him shed tears instantly made her eyes well up as well. She frowned, her tears streaming down her face as she looked away. "I didn't mean to yell at you, and I didn't mean to cause all of this trouble... I'm so sorry..." Her hand then held his to her face before she looked back at him. -

"It doesn't erase that she still nearly took you from our world!" She didn't expect to raise her voice. She blinked, startled by herself, and soon, her voice softened. "... and from *me*... all because she wanted to completely change our planet. Can you blame me for not forgiving her yet...?"

Oh, his little laugh made her smile as she took the handkerchief... but his advice made it fade slowly. She looked away... shaking her head slightly. "What if you or someone else I care about is in danger and need me to fight for them? What if I'm what's left?" Her eyes then met his... and they-

Her eyes widened as she heard him shout, and she rushed over to Simirror, immediately concerned for his wellbeing despite the fact that she, well, offered a duel in the first place. "I'm so sorry, I didn't want to actually hurt you! Are you okay...?"

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

She felt her eyes watering slightly, and she wiped her tears away with her palm. Her heart was indeed hurting... but she soon saw the way he was gripping his scarf. "I- It's okay, really... I just have to get stronger, and then people will want me around for these important events." Stela then-

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

She froze, a small gasp slipping from her before she turned around and saw Simirror behind her! She smiled and laughed a little, turning her body to face him. "That was impressive!" However, as he kept talking, she jabbed at his cloak, stabbing it and throwing him around to a nearby tree!

010

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Stela stepped back and took a slow, deep breath... and after that, she rushed forward, her spear pulled behind her! As she got closer to Simirror, she thrusted her spear forward at him with a shout!

010

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Her eyes widened as his tone shifted, and she laughed nervously, looking away. "I mean, I'm not going to be much of a challenge, but... I guess it'd be a learning experience for us both!"

010

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Stela took a deep breath, realizing this stranger wasn't trying to make things awkward. She turned towards him, holding her spear close to her. "Would you like to try fighting me maybe? It'd at least make you feel included right now, you know?"

010

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

"O- Okay, then..." She held onto her spear a little more awkwardly than before, fully aware that eyes were on her now. She turned back towards her makeshift dummy. "Sorry, I'm not used to people watching me... I'm new to this. Just bear with me, okay...?"

010

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

She gasped and jumped from the new voice, missing a step and stumbling onto the grass; her spear disappeared. After turning to see who spoke, she sighed and got up, dusting off her dress. "I- It's okay... You're right though, I was just practicing." She quickly summoned a new spear in her hands.

010

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

She's put together a makeshift practice dummy, its body a sack filled firmly with fluff and its head being a large melon. She stood in front of it with her spear of light... then began to practice her combat movements with it.

Though his words were meant to inspire, they made her lower lip quiver just enough to be noticeable. Her eyes darted away from his. "... Bandana asked me to lead us towards Magolor, but then he just... went and found Kirby himself to fight him. My time had arrived, but then I just... blew it."

010

.✦ ݁˖ Stela .✦ ݁˖ @fallenwishes.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Stela turned towards that familiar voice instantly, and though she lost the tension in her body from seeing him, she still sighed wistfully. "I just wish I was stronger, so I could be a better help in dire situations, like the one with Magolor. I should have been able to help Kirby and Bandana..."

She didn't realize that Bandana Dee would find Kirby and take on Magolor together. She held her hands together, closing her eyes and airing out her thoughts. "I wish I could have been stronger to fight with them... but please, I hope they are safe and victorious in their battle."
