i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes

In any event hopefully if it’s not sole weird behavioral quirk it’s something small like that that can be adjusted, just switching treats alone drastically reduced the frequency of her episodes. I dunno if there’s been any other recent changes for him besides the meds

and took the nuclear option. For our epileptic dog the main issue is just avoiding treats with like wheat/oat/rice flour. She was having really frequent seizures for a while and we pinpointed some like cookie type treats we’d gotten her as being the trigger

So In our case our dogs have skin allergies so my folks have to cook them food, they do like ground beef + frozen mixed veggies and some other add ins they rotate like eggs, occasional fish etc to give them some other nutrients. My other dog without carb issues gets like sweet potatoes & berries…

God forbid they’re focal seizures hopefully it’s nothing major, my aging dog developed them out of the blue a couple years ago but thankfully she doesn’t require medication and we managed to almost totally eliminate them with dietary changes (we put her on a low carb diet)
