We made it to 220,000 signatures, #WotSkies ! Keep the #SaveWOT campaign going! #TheWheelOfTime
A screenshot of the SaveWOT webpage. It contains different sections of text over a faded image of Rand carrying Moiraine in Season 3 of The Wheel of Time.
The SaveWOT logo is at the top, next to a menu dropdown. Below that, the text is broken up into 3 sections.
The 1st section has the slogan: “Save The Wheel of Time.”
The 2nd section says, “Finish the story. It deserves to be told in full!”
The 3rd section says “Fan signatures collected” and shows the number of signatures which is 220,000 in this screenshot.
Below that are 2 buttons to “Sign The Petition” and to “Send Letters.”

Last August, my wife surprised me with a copy of Michael Livingstone’s “Origins of The Wheel of Time.” One year later - almost to the day - she surprised me with this book. I didn’t realize this was going to turn into a new August tradition but I’m not complaining. 😉 #TheWheelOfTime
A paperback copy of “The Wheel of Time Companion” by Robert Jordan, Harriet McDougal, Alan Romanczuk & Maria Simons.
The black cover is emblazoned with the Wheel of Time symbol of a bronze-coloured snake biting its own tail in a figure-8, intertwined with a wheel. Above the symbol is the heading, “The People, Places and History of the Bestselling Series.” The book title is placed over the symbol, partially obscuring it. The authors’ names are listed below the title.

Me traveling with my kids all day instead of participating in the global #ReWOTch of #TheWheelOfTime . #SaveWOT #WotSkies
A meme edit of Robert Strange as the Eelfinn from The Wheel of Time seated in an airplane.
He is wearing dark pants but his bare torso and head are covered in orange and white fur makeup. He is slouched back in a seated position while giving the camera a sidelong look that screams of irritation and displeasure. He has been edited into a stock photo of passengers on an airplane, seated next to a young child and his mother.

A Wheel of Time meme made up of 5 different screenshots taken from the 3 existing seasons of The Wheel of Time. At the top of the image is the caption: “Fun Uncle Energy.” Beneath this caption are 2 screenshots of Perrin & Rand playfully chasing young children. Then, there’s another caption that reads: “Big Brother Energy” followed by 3 screenshots of Mat crouching down to meet children at eye level.

Screenshot #1 (Top Left): Perrin chases Nynaeve’s daughter, Elnore, in Episode 3 of Season 2. They are running toward the camera, Elnore laughing with a wooden sword in her hand and Perrin crouching low with his hands forward as if to catch her.

Screenshot #2 (Top Right): Rand chases after Alsera, Rhuarc’s grand daughter in Episode 5 of Season 3. They are running away from the camera, down a sandy pathway winding through the high stone walls of Cold Rocks Hold. Other Aiel lining the path watch as they run by.

Screenshot #3 (Bottom Left): Mat (played by Barney Harris) crouches down in front of his sisters who are playing with wooden dolls in Episode 1 of Season 1. They are all looking worse for wear as they are in scruffy clothing with unkempt hair and dirt-smudged faces. Mat is giving his sisters a comforting smile as he meets them at eye level.

Screenshot #4 (Bottom Centre): A crouching Mat (again played by Barney Harris) crouches down to meet a young girl, Helga Grinwell, at eye level in Episode 4 of Season 1. She is holding out her own wooden doll, Birgitte, to him. He is looking sickly and very unkempt but has a genuine smile on his face as he reaches to gently push the doll back toward her.

Screenshot #5 (Bottom Right): Mat (played by Donal Finn) crouches down to meet Nynaeve’s daughter, Elnore, at eye level in Episode 3 of Season 2. He is much more cleaned up this time around and wearing a fancy green cloak. He places his hand on Elnore’s shoulder as he smiles at her and she beams back at him in return.

A quick Video Description for any #WotSkies who rely on #AltText.
A montage of clips from Episode 7 of The Wheel of Time’s 3rd season set to a fanmade version of the song “Weep for Manetheren.” It features various WoT fans and content creators (many of whom I cannot name).
As the song begins with a rhythmic thumping sound we see the titles “Save WOT” & “savewot.com” on a black background. These titles flash in time with the beat, interspersed with quick shots of Perrin, Alanna, Loial & Faile. Then, two vocalists appear in opposite corners as they begin singing the song. A montage of shots from the Battle of the Two Rivers accompanies the music. More vocalists appear onscreen as they lend their voices to the song until the entire screen is full of vocalists. As the song progresses, the number of vocalists seen on onscreen keeps changing based on how many vocalists are singing each part. Then, the final shot fades to black with the beginning titles again visible.

#WotShowSpoilers S3E8 #TheWheelOfTime Hey #WotSkies, remember when Rafe hinted a while back that Egwene’s river test was foreshadowing for Nynaeve breaking her block? S3E8 had so many callbacks to previous seasons but 1 of my faves is this shot of Nynaeve’s hand mirroring Egwene’s hand in S1E1.
A shot from the Season 3 finale of The Wheel of Time showing Nynaeve’s left hand underwater. The shot is taken over her shoulder, focusing on her hand and forearm. Her bronze-and-black patterned sleeve is pulled back from her wrist as her hand drifts in the water, her fingers open and relaxed. White and blue threads of the One Power can be seen coalescing in the water and moving through her hand. The water is bright blue and calm but there is little to see aside from floating dust particles and a bit of the sandy sea bed.A shot from the Season 1 opener of The Wheel of Time showing Egwene’s right hand underwater. The shot is taken from below her, focusing on her hand and forearm. Her translucent blue sleeve is pulled back from her wrist as her hand drifts in the water, her fingers open and relaxed. Bubbles swirl around her hand while, above, the blue water, lit by bright white sunlight, roils in ripples and splashes.

#TheWheelOfTime #WotShowSpoilers S3E6 I wonder if Marin Al’Vere knows how often love-struck young people use her common room for their late night canoodles?
Two shots of the Winespring Inn’s common room in The Wheel of Time show.

The top shot is of Rand & Egwene in Episode 1 of Season 1. They are seated on a bench next to the large hearth of the common room, bathed in its firelight. The shot is taken through the hearth with small flames seen licking pieces of firewood in the foreground. Rand is shirtless, straddling the bench and facing Egwene who sits wrapped in a red blanket with one foot up on the bench and her hands on her knees. She rests her cheek on her hands as she turns to face Rand. Some tables, pillars and hanging chandeliers are visible in the dimly lit common room behind them.

The bottom shot is of Perrin & Faile in Episode 6 of Season 3. They are in the same location in front of the common room’s hearth but this time the shot is taken from the other end of the room facing the hearth. Perrin, fully dressed but with arms bared, sits propped up on the makeshift bed he was put on to heal from his wounds. Faile, in a dark outfit that matches her short hair, sits on the same bed next to him, staring into the fire of the hearth while he looks at her. They are lit by a hanging chandelier hanging over their heads in the centre of the shot. More chandeliers are visible to the sides as well as tables and pillars.

Is this what you’re referring to? The quality is not great but it does look like a section of lighter hair in the shot.
A shot of Jeaine Caida in Season 3 of The Wheel of Time. She is looking a bit distressed with dust on her clothes, her long, dark hair tussled and blood on her face. She is staring with focused determination as she holds her hands up in front of her. Yellow Weaves of the One Power are forming a circular shape in her outward-facing palms as she creates an offscreen shield to protect Liandrin.
Her hair cascading down her shoulders is dark brown but there seems to be a section of lighter, possibly white, hair over her right shoulder. This has been circled in red.

#WotShowSpoilers S3E5 Can’t stop thinking about the different ways in which these 3 relate to young children. Perrin & Rand are all like “Kids like when we pretend to be monsters, right?” And Mat just gets down to meet kids at eye level, assuming the least threatening posture for their benefit.

#WotShowSpoilers S3E5 Still thinking about Mat’s Dream hairstyle…
An edited version of a screenshot from an “I Think You Should Leave” sketch. It’s an image of Tim Robinson from the “Sloppy Steaks” sketch where he emphatically explains his hairstyle changes. He is in a blue polo with his hand pressed to the hair on his head. His face has been replaced with a softly smiling Dónal Finn in his Wheel of Time role as Mat Cauthon. It’s an image from Mat’s Dream in Episode 5 of Season 3 where his hairstyle is very cleaned up and slick-looking. The text on the screen is a Tim Robinson quote from the aforementioned sketch: “You think this is slicked back? This is pushed back.”

A shot of Nynaeve, Mat & Elayne from the Season 2 finale of The Wheel of Time. Mat is on his knees on top of a rubble-strewn tower. He is cradling an injured Rand in his lap (offscreen) while Nynaeve and Elayne sit down next to him. Elayne cries out in pain due to her injured knee as she moves to sit on the ground. Mat is distressed, his face ashen while he makes quick, panicked movements. Nynaeve, still in her suldam outfit with dark makeup around her eyes, has her hand on the back of his head in a comforting gesture. She also seems distressed as a mix of varying emotions play across her face. She looks directly into Mat’s eyes, trying to comfort him without words. He glances up briefly as he says, “I’m sorry. It was a mistake.”

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about this little character interaction in the S2 finale of #TheWheelOfTime > Nynaeve & Mat’s reunion in Falme. It is here where 2 broken people share a heart-breaking moment that’s all the more layered because of all that’s come before. A Thread… 👇 1/6

Tsutama (reasserting her authority): “We have work to do to regain our standing here.”

She leans forward to pick up her glass of wine.

Tsutama (pointedly): “Work you are making more difficult.”

She crosses her legs and gestures toward the door.

Tsutama (dismissively): “So…”

Elaida takes the hint but takes one more significant look at Galina who looks back with a disturbed look on her face. The implication is that Galina is in agreement with Elaida but is conflicted because of her loyalty to Tsutama. Elaida clocks this before slowly standing up and leaving the room. Tsutama turns to look at Galina who doesn’t make eye contact but, instead, reaches forward to pick up her own glass of wine.

The scene begins with a wide shot of the room and then cuts to a closer shot of Tsutama questioning Elaida.

Tsutama (directly): “What do you want?”

The shot cuts to Elaida who speaks in her deep, melodic Shohreh Aghdashloo voice.

Elaida: “I don’t want anything…”

She turns to meet the eyes of the other two Sitters.

Elaida (continuing): “…except to see the Reds return to our rightful place at the heart of this Tower, like we were…”

She turns to look directly at Tsutama again.

Elaida (pointedly): “…when I was the Highest.”

Her tone implies that Tsutama is at least partially to blame for the Reds’ fall from grace. Tsutama replies with a cool air, returning Elaida’s insult with a veiled one of her own.

Tsutama (smiling politely): “That was a long, long time ago.”

She glances at the other Sitters.

Tsutama (confidently): “It’s not the time for us to be pushing an agenda.”

She gives Elaida a significant look before continuing.

Tsutama: “Not after Liandrin –“

Elaida (interrupting): “It is exactly the time.”

Tsutama glares at her.

Elaida: “The Dragon is reborn.”

The scene cuts to another wide shot as Elaida appeals to the other Sitters as well.

Elaida (passionately): “And he is a man. This is what we Reds have been prepared for for centuries.”

At this point, we see our first close-up shot of Galina who seems to be taking in Elaida’s words with interest. Then it cuts back to Elaida who leans back confidently as she finishes her short speech.

Elaida: “Only WE are ready for it.”

Galina (in Clare Dunne’s natural Irish accent): “So, what are you proposing?”

Elaida: “That we call for a vote in the Hall…to send a group of 8 Sisters to find Rand al’Thor and cage him.”

As Elaida speaks, Galina shifts in her seat and appears to be interested. She looks to Tsutama who looks down and leans back in her chair. Elaida’s words are starting to work on Galina and Tsutama can see the power balance shifting in Elaida’s favour.

A scene of Elaida (played by Shohreh Aghdashloo) meeting with the three Sitters of the Red Ajah in Season 3 of The Wheel Of Time. They are in a room that is presumably part of the Red Ajah quarters in the White Tower. The background extras are all in red and most of the lavish furnishings (cushions, flowers, etc.) carry at least a hint of red. Golden sunlight streams through the tall windows in the wall behind Elaida where other Red Ajah sisters converse and move about. While these other sisters are all in the same room, they’re not a part of the conversation and it’s unclear whether or not they can hear what is being said.

Elaida and the Sitters seem to be at odds with one another and this is evident in the way they dress and carry themselves. The two Sitters who speak in this scene are Tsutama (played by Diem Camille) and Galina (played by Clare Dunne). They are both dressed in simple, but elegant, red outfits. Both in pants and tops with bared shoulders, they very nearly mirror one another. Tsutama, who is Highest of the Reds, wears a golden necklace that looks like a twisted collar.

The third Sitter, who is in a long-sleeved kimono, has no lines in this scene and only appears in the wide shots.

Elaida is dressed in an ornate, dark red dress with a blue-and-gold floral print and pointed shoulders that give her a striking silhouette in the sunlight. Her hair is wound up tightly in a pointed bun and ornate golden earrings dangle over the high collar of her dress. A large gold medallion hangs at her neck.

They are all seated around a low table holding a decanter of red wine and a tray of red fruit. Elaida sits in a large, ornate chair covered in red pillows while the Sitters sit in smaller, but still ornately-carved, chairs with their backs to the room’s hearth.

As the conversation progresses, it becomes evident that Elaida and Tsutama do not see eye-to-eye but that Elaida is attempting to seed distrust for Tsutama in the other Sitters’ minds.

Aviendha: “Why does he waste his time with swords? They are not the Aiel way. When was the last time anyone cut their supper with a sword?”

Aviendha crouches down next to Egwene and Moiraine. Moiraine chuckles softly as the sequence of shots goes back to alternating close-ups on the three women.

Egwene: “Can’t you see he’s trying? We’re on our way to the Aiel Waste.”

Aviendha: “You wouldn’t understand. Your wetland prophecies are all so clean. So easy. Your Dragon will either save the world or destroy it.”

Aviendha looks down.

Moiraine: “Aiel prophecies don’t say the same?”

Aviendha straightens up and looks directly at Moiraine before reciting Aiel prophecy. Egwene and Moiraine only stare at her with concerned looks on their faces as they try to process what they are hearing.

Aviendha: “The Car’a’carn shall spill out the blood of those who call themselves Aiel, as water on sand, and break them as dry twigs. Yet, the remnant of a remnant the Car’a’carn shall save. And they shall live. Our Car’a’carn is creation and destruction wrapped in one. Balance. It is my duty to return Rand al’Thor to the Three Fold Land.”

At the mention of Rand’s name, the scene cuts back to him practicing another sword form.

Aviendha (speaking as we see Rand practicing): “To my home. So that he may save my people…”

Rand brings his sword up and steps forward, placing the palm of his hand on the butt of his hilt and jabbing the blade outward in one smooth motion.

Aviendha: “…and to destroy them.”

The scene cuts back to a wide shot of the three women next to the fire.

Aviendha (beginning to skin the rabbit): “The prophecy does not say that I must enjoy the task.”

Lan looks at him a little longer before acquiescing and stepping back to resume the training.

Lan: “All right. Parting the Silk.”

The shot cuts back to Moiraine watching with a concerned look on her face. Then, we see a wider shot of both her and Egwene again as she places more wood on the fire. Egwene, in a black top, is watching the two men practice. Moiraine reaches over to brush back Egwene’s hair, revealing a bruise on her neck.

Moiraine: “I healed those bruises in Tar Valon.”

Egwene stares up at her from her seated position before turning away and moving her hand to cover the bruise.

Moiraine: “I would’ve thought they were from the Forsaken attack. Yet, here they are. Fresh again.”

Moiraine sits down next to Egwene, waiting for a response. Egwene stares off with a hint of tears of her eyes. The rest of their conversation is shown in alternating close-ups.

Moiraine (nodding to Rand): “Are they from him?”

Egwene: “No.”

Egwene brings her hand down and leans forward.

Egwene (defiantly): “I’m not here to help you control him, Moiraine. I’m here to protect him.”

Moiraine (unfazed): “So am I. But you’re closest to him. You’re the one who will see the first signs. And the more he channels, the more the madness will take him.”

Egwene doesn’t respond and the conversation ends at the sound of footsteps coming close. The shot cuts to a wide shot of the two of them again, Rand and Lan on the hilltop in the background as a newcomer to the scene, Aviendha, walks up with a dead rabbit in hand. Aviendha is in her Aiel cadin’sor, her hood over her hair and spears bristling over her shoulder.

Aviendha: “She was almost faster than me.”

She drops the rabbit next to the fire. The shot cuts to a closer shot on her.

Aviendha (snarkily): “Almost.”

Aviendha turns to look at Rand and Lan, shaking her head in disgust. We see a quick shot of Rand and Lan swinging their swords in unison and grunting with the exertion.

A scene of Rand & Lan practicing sword forms in Season 3 of The Wheel Of Time. They are on top of a rocky hill dotted with sparse vegetation. Rand is in a short-sleeved green shirt and Lan is in his usual dark grey outfit. They start off beside one another but facing in opposite directions as they swing their swords down in a smooth motion. Then, as they bring their sword hilts back up with the blades pointed downward, the shot cuts to a wide, drone shot that moves around them in one broad sweep. We see the rugged, hilly landscape around them and the setting sun peeking over a ridge in the distance, its rays bathing the hilltop in golden light. We hear the metallic whooshing sounds of their swords cutting the air as they dance from sword form to sword form, Rand doing a near-perfect imitation of Lan.

That same shot reveals Moiraine and Egwene sitting next to a fire a short distance away before it cuts to a closer shot on Moiraine. Dressed in a dark skirt and light purple blouse, her hair spilling over her shoulders from beneath a floppy hat, she rises from a sitting position with dry pieces of firewood in hand.

We see some more shots of Lan & Rand. First, we see the two of them finishing a sword form, crouched down with one foot forward and the blade pointed out. As they rise and turn with spinning blades, the scene cuts to a close-up on Lan who sweeps his blade down before giving Rand a side-eyed glance. We then see a close-up on Rand’s sword as he swings it to his side and spins it around one-handed. The camera pans upward to his face before he again resumes a two-handed stance. The shot cuts to a wide shot of the two of them with only Rand swinging his sword. He grunts as he swings his sword a few times, coming up close to Lan. Lan stops him.

Lan: “Wait.”

Lan stares knowingly into Rand’s eyes. Rand stares back, his expression unreadable.

Lan: “Your mind is elsewhere, sheepherder. Do you want to talk about it?”

Rand just shakes his head.

At this point, Gawyn unhands Galad and sends him rolling in the sand. Now, it’s Gawyn’s turn to stick Galad’s sword point-down in the sand. Gawyn stands proud with one arm out and his sword resting on his shoulder. Galad, seemingly impressed, gives him a nod of approval. He glances upward at the novices who cheered for him earlier before rushing back into the fight. His pecks and abs flex in a very distracting manner as he leaps into action. He flips over Gawyn’s sword swing and lands within reach of his own sword. He reaches for it but Gawyn is too quick and he slaps Galad’s hand with the flat of his blade. Galad steps away, trying to shake off the pain in his hand.

This seems to signal the end of the match as the onlookers cheer and clap. Mat places his sword back on the rack before turning to go.

Mat: I’ve seen enough.

He takes one more look backward before moving off.

Min, dressed in a stark white coat, walks into the scene. She leans against a pillar to watch. Galad stabs Gawyn’s sword into the ground in the centre of the arena. Min takes a swig from her flask and then moves out of frame.

Mat wanders by another loaded sword rack, head down, and nearly walks into some hanging green foliage. He pushes the plants out of the way and then casually peruses the swords, brushing them with his hand and knocking them to the ground. It’s unclear if he is being legitimately clumsy or just exaggerating for effect. Trying to look smooth, he grabs a sword as it falls and glides back into a standing position next to Elayne & Nynaeve.

Mat (as the brothers continue to spar): “I didn’t think you’d be into this kind of thing, Nynaeve.”

Nynaeve: “I think everyone is into this kind of thing, Mat.”

Mat doesn’t answer.

A still-unarmed Gawyn throws a handful of sand Galad’s face. Gawyn then runs to the edge of the arena, takes two steps up the side of a pillar and backflips of a charging Galad. He falls backward as he lands but rolls smoothly backward into a crouching position.

Galad (sternly to Gawyn): “Come on. On your feet.”

Mat: “So, who are these tossers?”

Elayne (sighs): “My brothers.”

Her voice has a tone that could sound either exasperated or proud. Her feelings about her brothers are unclear at the moment so it could go either way.

Mat: “So, they’re princes or something.”

Nynaeve: “And they act like it. Entitled bastards.”

Then, as a half-hearted apology to Elayne, she says: “No offense, Elayne.”

Elayne (smugly): “None taken. Coming from someone sleeping with an actual king.”

Nynaeve has no response and just looks at her.

Video Description/Transcript 1/3 Note: There’s a lot to the scene so this is only Part 1 of the description. #WotShowSpoilers
A scene from Season 3 of The Wheel of Time that shows brothers Gawyn & Galad sparring shirtless in front of an audience in the White Tower training grounds. Both are wearing only boots and high-waisted pants – Gawyn in red pants and Galad in white. They are exchanging blows with metal swords as well as their elbows and fists, trying to best one another in the sand-covered, circular space. Various Novices, Accepted & Aes Sedai cheer them on excitedly from in and among the foliage-covered columns that surround the training arena.

As Gawyn lands a fist to Galad’s jaw, the scene cuts to a pair of novices running into the training space to watch. Two guards dressed in Andoran red stand at attention on either side of this entrance. Mat, dressed in a purple shirt and a coat swirled in elaborate, gold paisley patterns follows the novices into the space. He stops when he sees the brothers.

We cut back to the brothers as Galad lands a flying kick to Gawyn’s torso. Gawyn falls to the ground, losing his sword. Galad gestures to him as he says,

Galad: “Up.”

Gawyn spins his legs, using the momentum to roll off his back and onto his feet. He grabs his sword from where it was stuck in the ground and the two brothers clash once again.

Mat watches with an annoyed look on his face, fiddling with his coat. He spots Nynaeve and Elayne standing next to a loaded sword rack. They are both watching with amused looks on their faces.

The brothers are grappling on their feet now. As Galad strong-arms Gawyn’s upper body to face away from him, Gawyn uses the opportunity to blow a kiss at some of the watching novices. They cheer and swoon but the distraction is enough to allow Galad to kick Gawyn’s feet out from under him. He loses his sword and hits the ground hard. Some novices standing on a balcony overlooking the grounds cheer for Galad.

This is the 2nd time today that a #WotSkies post has put a Beatles song in my head so I had to do something about it. 😄
A heavily-edited version of the cover for The Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love” single.
The original image is a black & white image of The Beatles lined up in dark suits beneath a header with the song title.
The song title has been changed to “All You Need Is…” and in the lower left of the image, in a different font, are the words “A Pocket Rocket.”
In place of the band members’ faces are the faces of the group going to the Two Rivers in Season 3 of The Wheel of Time. From left to right, they are Maksim, Alanna, Perrin & Loial. Two Aiel spears are visible over Alanna’s shoulders to represent Bain & Chiad. In the foreground, taking up most of the image, is Isabella Bucceri giving the camera a smug, purse-lipped stare. Isabella plays Faile who has been affectionately referred to as a “Pocket Rocket” by Marcus Rutherford.

I put together a bit of a Video Description/Transcript for this clip. See ALT text in image. Hopefully it’s helpful. Also, did anyone catch what Moiraine says right before “You are the Dragon Reborn”? It sounds to me like “You are not your fault” but that doesn’t really make sense to me.
A scene of Rand & Moiraine discussing plans in Season 3 of The Wheel of Time. They are on a balcony in Tar Valon at dusk, the sun setting in the distance. Moiraine walks to the railing while Rand lounges in a chair.

Rand: On the slopes of Dragonmount shall the child be born.

Moiraine: You’ve been studying the prophecies.

Rand: A lot of contradictions, Moiraine. A lot of unknowns.

Moiraine just looks at him.

Rand (continuing): They say that Lews Therin is the one that put Callandor in the Stone of Tear. That only the Dragon Reborn can draw it again.

Moiraine: Not if another male channeler takes it first.

Rand: No one has taken it in 3,000 years.

Moiraine (raising her voice): The Forsaken haven’t been free.

Rand (getting a little heated): If they could, why haven’t they yet? They could be waiting there for me to take it. I could be walking into a trap.

Moiraine: So what do you want to do then? Do you want to wait?

Moiraine moves from the railing and begins to pace.

Moiraine: Do you want to stay here?

Rand: No.

Moiraine (spinning to look back at Rand): No? Then where do you want to go?

Rand: Where do I really want to go?

Moiraine (interrupting): Yes. Where do you really want to go?

Rand pauses.

Rand (in a quiet voice): Home.

Moiraine: Home?

Rand: Yes.

Moiraine: To the Two Rivers?

Rand (talking over Moiraine): Yes! There are people I can trust.

Moiraine (getting exasperated): And what will your army of farmers do against the Shadowspawn?

Rand has no answer.

Moiraine (continuing): What will you do when the Two Rivers run red? When the waters are bloated with the swollen bodies of your family and friends?

Rand just glares at her.

Moiraine (calming her voice as she squats down with her hands on a small table): Rand, you are not at your… [this line is unclear]

Moiraine (emphatically): You are the Dragon Reborn. There is no homecoming for you. Not now. Not ever.

Rand (after a long pause): You don’t tell me what to do anymore.

End of clip.

#WotShowSpoilers I feel like there should be more people talking about how Mat’s pants match his coat.
A screenshot of Mat from the “The City is Not Safe” promo clip from Season 3 of The Wheel of Time.
Mat is standing in a casual pose, his head cocked to the side and his hands in his pockets. He is wearing an elaborately-patterned, silk coat over a purple shirt that’s unbuttoned halfway down his torso. His partially-bared chest is obscured slightly by the brown leather shoulder strap of his bag. His pants are made of the same material as his coat with the cuffs rolled up over some very comfortable-looking, almost shoe-like boots. He is on a stone walkway that’s bordered by a stone railing and decorated with potted plants.

#WotShowSpoilers Are you referring to what Rafe said in this SFX Magazine article? 👇 Or was there another interview where it got brought up? The posters have sidetracked me and I’m falling behind on the interviews. 😊
A screenshot of the SFX Magazine article about The Wheel of Time Season 3.
It includes some quotes taken from an interview with Rafe Judkins. These quotes have been underlined in red.

It reads…
That's especially true of the season's opening; 15 minutes - a magical fight between good and evil witches at the White Tower, described as a “massive action set-piece with women in their forties and fifties just fucking shredding each other” - and the seventh and eighth episodes, that “feel like two back-to-back season finales”. (This last line has been underlined.)

The article continues…
"We have these three storynes going on this season and felt like the Perrin storyline really needed a whole episode to itself, so episode seven is this epic finale to that," Judkins teases. (The last part of this sentence has been underlined as well.)

“When you're watching it, you almost forget about Moiraine and Rand and Egwene, but then you get the actual finale which is huge for these other characters."

#WotShowSpoilers #TheWheelOfTime Correction: The Red Sitters aren’t visible in that previous shot so they may have still been standing prior to the blast. But, it’s unclear how they went down. CW: blood & gore
A low-angle shot from the Wheel of Time Season 3 Sneak Peek showing the aftermath of the fight in the corridor outside the Hall of the Tower. An Aes Sedai in a dust-covered red dress lies limply against a blood-stained pillar. Her face is a bloody mess and she is either unconscious or dead. A severed hand sits on the rubble-littered floor in the foreground. Two more bodies with unclear injuries are visible in the shot: a Warder dressed in grey and a second Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah.A shot from the Wheel of Time Season 3 Sneak Peek showing Liandrin and her Black Ajah Sisters leaving the Hall of the Tower. Chesmal (in yellow) & Jeaine (in green) stand in the corridor among numerous bodies covered in dust and blood. Most of these bodies are Warders dressed in varying shades of grey. Their weapons lay about amid pieces of rubble and puddles of blood. One of the doors to the Hall lies on the floor next to the bodies. An Aes Sedai in a dust-covered red dress lies limply against a blood-stained pillar on the right and another Aes Sedai in red lies on the ground to the left. It is unclear if these Red Sisters or Warders are all dead but they are unconscious at the very least.

#WotShowSpoilers #TheWheelOfTime Not sure how I didn’t notice this earlier but all the Warders and the Red Sisters are already down (and some are definitely dead) before the Black Ajah blow open the doors. Is there a scene (cut from the Sneak Peek) of Chesmal & Jeaine laying waste in the corridor?
A shot from the Wheel of Time Season 3 Sneak Peek showing the door to the Hall of the Tower being blown up with the One Power. A burst of dust and light is coming through the door as it explodes.
Two Black Ajah Aes Sedai, Jeaine & Chesmal dressed in green & yellow respectively, hide behind a bloody pillar in the foreground, protecting themselves from the blast. The blood-splattered corridor leading to the Hall is strewn with the bleeding bodies of many Warders dressed in varying shades of grey. It is unclear how many of the Warders are dead but at least some of them have mortal wounds. Their weapons clutter the floor amid severed hands and feet.

#WotS3Speculation #WotBookSpoilers What if this S3 scene is where Rand goes off to sit and “remember a shepherd named Rand al’Thor?” Maybe he jumps here in TAR, thinking it’s the only way for him to be alone, but then Lanfear shows up with other plans.
A shot of Rand and Lanfear from the Season 3 trailer for The Wheel of Time. The 2 of them are sitting on a large rock on a gorgeous mountainside, surrounded by more mountains. This appears to be the same rock that Rand & Egwene sat on in Episode 1 of Season 1.
Rand & Lanfear both appear to be wearing outfits from previous seasons. Rand is in his reddish-brown, woollen shepherd’s coat from Season 1. Lanfear wears a flowy blue dress, similar (if not identical) to the Season 2 outfit she wore as Selene in Cairhien. Her hair is much shorter than it was in Season 2, cut similarly to Egwene’s hair as seen in other trailer shots.

#WotS3Speculation Thinking about how Perrin is fighting a Trolloc next to a blacksmith’s forge AGAIN. That’s symbolic, right? With Faile coming up behind him, I wonder if this is the moment Perrin learns to control his battle rage? Or maybe he & Faile are just really good at fighting in tandem?
A shot of Perrin fighting a Trolloc in The Wheel of Time’s Season 3 trailer. He is wearing shiny, metal armour and his bloodstained face is twisted in fierce determination as he swings his hammer at the hairy, armoured Trolloc in front of him. To the left of the image, lit up by an offscreen fire, are numerous people fighting more Trollocs next to a building. A short-haired woman, likely Faile, appears to be moving toward Perrin. To the right of the image, circled in red, is a blacksmith’s forge with flames in its coals. A wooden framework holds a hanging lantern and chains over the forge.

#WotSkies #WotBookSpoilers I was doing some online digging on Tanchico and came across this detail about a former king of Tarabon being a male channeler. This is giving me all sorts of thoughts regarding the Sad Statue (likely a captive male channeler) in the show’s promo photos of Tanchico.

The text reads: “One of the kings of Tarabon was discovered to be a male channeler. He was single-handedly carried out of his palace by Cadsuane Melaidhrin and brought to Tar Valon to be gentled.”

Same here. It’s the colours in the costumes and the stained glass windows that make me think it’s the White Tower. The windows especially because they have the same pattern as the window on top of the Tower in this shot from S2.

Hey #WoTSkies . What’s the latest consensus on the cloaked character from the teaser? I think I spotted that cloak (or 1 like it) in the “Golden Bowl” shot. The lighting makes colour comparisons tough but the length and patterning on the cloak are similar. Could this be Rhuarc in a ceremonial cloak?
A cropped and colour-adjusted image of a shot from The Wheel of Time Season 3 teaser showing 2 people walking across a white sand dune. They are heading toward a massive group of dark-clad figures lining the top of another sand dune.
The figure on the right is tall with close-cropped red hair, likely Josha Stradowski as Rand Al’Thor. He’s wearing the same outfit seen in other shots: brown boots, dark pants and a dirty blue, tan and white coat. The lighting in the shot makes the coat look almost reddish but the cut of it implies it’s the same coat.
The figure on the left wears dark-coloured (possibly brown) boots and pants and a long, flowing cloak blowing in the wind. The cloak is patterned in different shades of brown & tan with what could be a fur lining near the top.A cropped image of a shot from The Wheel of Time Season 3 teaser showing 2 people standing in front of stone chairs at the edge of a rock-strewn, sandy hillside. The colouring, sharpness and contrast of the image have been adjusted to bring out the details and patterning of their outfits.
The figure on the right is large and broad-shouldered, possibly masculine. His facial features are unclear but he seems to be wearing the same long, patterned brown cloak seen on a character in another shot from the teaser.
The figure on the left looks more feminine. She is slim and tall, wearing a dress with bared arms, elaborate shoulder pads and a pointed headdress.
The original shot this was taken from is a much wider shot showing the “bowl” at the bottom of this hillside. It is likely The Golden Bowl, a location of significance in The Shadow Riding. It is assumed that the people on top of the hillside, overlooking the bowl, are clan chiefs. If so, that would mean the feminine character is Sevanna and the more masculine one could be Rhuarc.
