46. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night [replay] (1997) Some bosses are a lil bullshit and the inverted castle's pacing is iffier than I remembered, but this remains a certified classic. The artistry on display in both the level design, music and overall vibe was insane.

Dracula saying "Haha!
Imagine I flipped my castle upside down. I'm kinda nuts." which I'm sure is a real thing don't worry.

44. Sektori (2025) Awesome and addicting twin-stick shooter. I don't venture into this genre much, but this feels like it's going to end up being a definitive one. Felt like playing Geometry Wars back in the day. Fantastic music, too. Bosses in the campaign may be a lil much sometimes, though.

My VA-11 Hall-A Design Works book came in but unfortunately has a slightly unglued binder. Been waiting for a while to receive it, so that was a bummer. Still, the interior design and details in the book were all quite excellent. Once I repair that binding, I'll happily put this on display somehow.

36. Deltarune Chapter 5 (2026) That dog and his team are crazy good at this. Extremely fun chapter, with the usual funny dialogue and characters, and probably some of the best gameplay bits Toby's done so far. Incredibly good secret boss this time.

35. The Amazing Digital Circus Beautiful. Excellent 3D animation that keeps getting better with each episode, with a film-worthy ending to cap it all off. Looking forward to seeing the kind of art and people it inspires. I hope Goose gets like, tons of rest. Pomni best one.

34. Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (2017) [replay] This is the good stuff. Decently difficult and Specter's moveset is expertly done, with a flow state that can make going through levels quickly really fulfilling. The sprite work and remixes are stellar. Getting this for 'free' is crazy.

33. Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows (2015) [replay] I remembered how disappointed I felt over the levels being structured like Shovel's, but then I actually played again. Plague's robust moveset really changes how you tackle each one, made it really engaging. Very good! Charming cast as always.
