cosplay is a subculture. a defining characteristic of a subculture is its political values. without them, it’s just another aesthetic. if you don’t like our alignment, go bother a different community. #cosplay #cosplayer #cosmakers

i’m uncomfortable with all forms of family vlogging. just because it’s a cosplay family doesn’t make it any different. kids deserve to explore cosplay on their own terms, not as content. #cosplay #cosplayers #cosplayer

the truth about cosmetic contacts? unregulated = unsafe. most cheap lenses online aren’t FDA approved and have no safety regulation placed on them. these companies do not care about cosplayers they care about profit. #cosplay #cosplayer #cosplayers

“showing restraint” won’t bring the Joann’s sales down to 75% off. those sales are long gone. liquidators don’t care about clearing out stores, they care about making a profit. that’s why they stop accepting gift cards, coupons, and discounts for teachers, seniors, and veterans #cosplaymakers

if you’re wondering why Joann’s went out of business, check your amazon purchase history. the amount of times i see the answer to “where did you get *insert crafting supply*” as Amazon i would have been able to put in a bid for Joann’s myself. #joanns #cosplay #cosplaymakers

Philly Cosplayers! Is anyone else putting together an Animal Crossing cosplay for New Horizons Aquarium Tour at Adventure Aquarium this weekend? Adventure Aquarium wasn’t on the initial dates. After checking back frequently, I gave up. I ended up finding out from a billboard yesterday

a promotional image from Animal Crossing New Horizons shows characters hanging out on the beach in front of the in game museum and light house. The sky is blue with clouds. Owl Blathers holds a book and speaks with a human villager next to flowers. Yellow Dog Isabelle poses next to Raccoons Tom Nook, with his nephews Timmy and Tommy all in their island shirts. Pascal the red otter swims with another human villager with snorkeling gear that is diving for scallops. CJ the Beaver wears his fishing gear and holds a fishing rod while pointing a Nook Phone at a human villager in fishing clothes reeling in a fish

a human animal crossings villager with pigtails stands facing the shark tank from Animal Crossing New Horizon’s museum. There are large sharks in the tank and a school of fish swims in between them.

a screenshot from Camden Adventure Aquarium’s website reads “Character Meet and Greets Meet-and-greet with Tom Nook from the Animal Crossing New Horizons game on Saturday, February 1, and Sunday, February 2, during the following times:
• 10:00 - 10:20 a.m.
• 11:00 - 11:20 a.m.
• 1:00 - 1:20 p.m.
• 2:00 - 2:20 p.m.
• 3:00 - 3:20 p.m.
• 4:00 - 4:20 p.m. (Saturday, 2/1 only)
