iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I’m tired. Of looking at my face & body through all the expectations & wishes collected over the years. 36. That’s how tired I am. #wellcomeCollection

The text of the post written on a paper from the Reading Room of the Wellcome Collection, accompanied by an attempt at drawing a self-portrait.

That still makes row 14 technically 13th, but I appreciate the sentiment. Now having row 13 and not selling tickets to it, that would be a dedication to superstitions!

Rows 12 and 14 on a plane, row 13 is skipped.

I’m all for keeping hopeful! The only thing I know for sure is I will need much more to wrap my head around it all, anyway.

I sort of don’t want to say this and also I have a crappy memory but… didn’t the apple tree in the bookshop seem like a garden? The moment they decided? For me at least that certainly brought the “it begins as it ends” to mind... #go3spoilers

Wahoo! What did you get???? I keep forgetting to ask.

Jodie Jo @failahead.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

Quite sure that’s it! Oh Michael.

Jodie Jo @failahead.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

You did it! It’s out there! Out in the (lovely fandom) wild! 🥹 You’re amazing. In case anybody hesitates — STOP! Drop everything and go feast on the exquisite art and writing. Do not fear the magnitude, for on AO3 the Opus is structured into sub-chapters. 5/5 ⭐️

One of them said “bite me” and it was taken literally?

Jodie Jo @failahead.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

“They still bite” 😂😂 You amazing madperson.

Michael made the original banner, didn’t she.

Detailed murder board would definitely weird me in! Not that I needed more bait. We’re not done discussing it 😑

Jodie Jo @failahead.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Over two years and you never mentioned you had an actual murder board?! We need to have a word about this.

Oh the association is strong. I heard the jokes on the male form as well… Maybe we should just own it and *serve* good RDM practices, offer complimentary repository advice, ask everyone to fasten their data (whatever that means 😂) and such.

It was overall such a pleasant experience in terms of organisation and programme and also the atmosphere. I only wish I could be at two places at once for all the exciting panels and activities 😂

That’s such an endearing dynamic!

Why have I never thought of saying data stewardess? I’ll be using it from now on. Thank you for making my job title more inclusive.

You know you’re at the right conference/festival/place when they offer you delicious ice cream for free! #osfestival2025

Jodie Jo @failahead.bsky.social · 08/09/2025

Well, they are calling it a festival so it would almost be odd not to! ✨ 😂

“Science is not about being absolutely right but rather using a proper tool to answer the question.” Very quotable keynote talk from @florianaigner.at at #osfestival2025
