Something that helps me keep a character looking like themselves in my art is making sure I do regularly scheduled visits to the source material but what's hilarious about this is that when the character is an OC the source material in question is often your own art

If you ever feel down about your art you just have to remember that it’s very special to be able to get a thought out of your head into a form that it’s able to be shared and viewed even if it doesn’t look like a perfect copy of what you imagined… is that not insanely cool???

A lot of people seem confused about Jolligig’s gender so I wanted to clear it up so there’s less confusion: I used to go by he/him and I don’t anymore, so naturally my character shifted alongside me. Other than that nothing has changed and she is still the same bean!
