$LotR Return of the King - Do I even have to motivate this? This is one of the most impressive achievements in cinema history. Spiderverse - Same as above but for animation tbh Everything, Everywhere, All at Once - A better multiverse story than the MCU on a fraction of a budget and exactly my type of bizarre shit Grand Budapest Hotel - speaking of bizarre. This is so delightfully weird but also genuinely great Scott Pilgrim - it's one of those "made for me" kind of deals and besides the humor, fun story and gaming references, the editing is peak. Lilo and Stitch - I'd need a whole essay to describe how extraordinary this one is. Might genuinely be Disney's best animated movie Shrek 2 - one of the best sequels ever and my family still references the polish dub on a daily basis Jojo Rabbit - this shouldn't work. A humoristic take on a very serious and tragic topic. It manages to be funny without making light of the tragedy, while also giving a serious look at a side of WW2 that's often overlooked. Asterix i Obelix: Misja Kleopatra - listen. You know how we joke that Polish/Slavic people all love Heroes and Gothic? This is the movie equivalent$

Mother 3 - emotional destruction and big laughs
Deltarune/Undertale - 2-in-1 because I can't choose. Same as above.
YIIK I.V. - because it made me realize how much damage internet making shit up can do.
Vivid/stasis - best rhythm game with an incredibly impactful story (see mother 3 and ut/dr)
Rayman 2 - one of the most important games from my childhood
Zelda TP - Still the best Zelda imo. Everything from the world, the story, the gameplay and characters.. also midna
Final Fantasy XIV - Got me into MMOs. Met/bonded with my best friends there. Shadowbringers and Endwalker are peak fiction.
Night in the Woods - The Pinnacle of relatability to the point of taking Mae as my second name
Pokemon Platinum - despite knowing Pokemon since day 1, this was my first game. Glad it wasn't D/P cause I probably wouldn't get hooked

Wii Sports Resort was a classic but the "remake" for Switch 2 really shows how much greedier Nintendo got. The game itself is more expensive than the game bundled with the motion plus add-on was at launch. So basically the switch 2 version is triple the price of the Wii original
