Having a good time with Marvel Rivals so far! Never thought I'd be back to the hero shooter PvP genre but here we are. I'm hoping the future seasons have a bit more offerings for free to play or battle pass only players, but unfortunately can't say I'm too surprised. Still, not heartbroken over it

Yes! I used to do purple hair, but it was harder to set up outfits that worked with it. So I started using purple eyes and more natural hair colours instead

I'm still not too familiar with fighting games and their terminology, but generally a bit more on the setplay and zoning side of things. Jack-O' in GG Strive, Dizzy in GG Xrd (and hopefully Strive!), and Rachel Alucard in BBCF, to name some notables

After seeing the price tag of Metaphor: ReFantazio I was very put off ($CAD gaming yayyy). But the demo is really good so far... And also I have to respect that it has a demo of the actual early game, that can be carried over. That should really be the standard for these big, pricey games!

I can't remember where I had heard it but the advice that has been carrying me so heavily is to not treat rank as anything other than a matchmaking tool. For some reason that small thing took a lot of the pressure off.

I was actually able to manage more than 2 matches of Guilty Gear Strive in a row today. Sure, some of that might have been some stubborn "I'm not stopping until I win" attitude, but it's nice to see the anxiety of online pvp is fading a bit.

Only had a bit of time but 3-0'd my first games on the fighting stick. Not that I'm playing at high ranks or anything. But the actual feel of the stick itself was very nice. A lot more natural and comfortable than anything else I've tried. Just need to get used to the input timings all over again 😅

Ended up caving and ordering a fighting stick today. It's something I had forgotten about, but I have some kind of issue with the 2nd-4th fingers' knuckles on my left hand that, when they are bad, make it almost impossible to consistently do any sort of 214 inputs on keyboard or leverless

My love of Jack-O' is back! Playing some other characters (ABA, Testament) really translated over to learning Jack-O' and I even took rounds on my friends who I couldn't win against at all yesterday. Feels good, since Jack-O' was the first character I was interested in but just couldn't figure out!
