The sim-rig project is coming along nicely! Going to pick up my rig frame and seat tomorrow! I think my eyes were big when I was looking at direct drives. My little R5 is pretty great. Not sure I need anything crazy. Maybe I'll upgrade to an R9/R12 at some point, but there's no need for more.

Nobarra Linux first impressions..... Not great. For some reason external monitors only work through a USB hub rather than through the HDMI port on the laptop. OS freezes when attempting to switch users. I really want to like it. But so far it seems like its going to be a pain.
