I hope that soon, I can recapture that feeling of whimsy that I used to have in the community, especially with next BLFC returning to weekends and the theme being one of my favorite aesthetics (classic monsters) (3/3)

I was talking with my friend @floofyfeathers.bsky.social about this last night, and they said that it felt like only the first day at the con, not the last night. (2/3)

Maybe this is the BLFC post-con depression talking, but man, I miss how I used to feel about IRL events in the fandom like 10-15 years ago. I used to get butterflies and fangirl about seeing fursuits, and the cons felt like they lasted for weeks, not days (1/3)

I just went to #DragonLights at Rancho San Rafael Park. The lights are always so beautiful! My favorite was probably the parrots

Just got home from seeing #Primetime. I didn't get to see it last weekend because my car was in the shop. I really liked it! I was so absorbed, that I didn't eat my food until the movie was almost over, and as a person with ADHD, that's a true feat!

After watching The Witch, Midsommar, and now Carrie with my dog, and seeing her smile at all three movies, I have come to the conclusion that Dotty's favorite horror movie trope is "good for her". Carrie is her favorite of these so far, it seems

While this does mean that we can more easily afford both LVFC and BLFC next year, I'm just worried that this BLFC won't be fun enough to distract me from my feelings of loneliness

This is the first year in a long time where I'm going to BLFC with no one. My only friends that were able to make it are vending the whole time, and I'm not allowed to hang out with them for very long. Everyone else had to bow out for money reasons

My friends, @floofyfeathers.bsky.social, Garr and I went to #SacanimeSummer again. We all met Brandon Rogers, and I met Erica Lindbeck. I got autographs from both, and spent the day hanging out with friends and checking out cool stuff!

I used to hate going shopping for clothes with my mom. It was so boring. But partway through high school, I found that I actually liked looking for clothes, as long as they were remotely alternative-looking

Just got home from watching #Spider-ManBrandNewDay, and my first thoughts: for some reason, this movie in particular makes the MCU feel like a community of superheroes, each coming and going with their own stories. Another is really excited that the MCU X-Men are coming! Overall, I loved it! 🥰

After Scream let me down earlier this year, it's good to know that my other horror goat #EvilDead is still flawless! Plenty of moments that made me wince in pain, and a couple of funny moments like the old movies, but not enough to pull me out of the movie. Stay after the credits if you liked Rise

This is the second time I've done one of these TADC personality tests, but I like this one since I see pieces of myself in almost all of the characters. Pomni winning out makes some sense, but I used to be problematic like Jax, I have crippling anxiety and depression like Gangle, and Cane is my ADHD

This is some world class trolling, the internet remains undefeated, Trump not so much.

Spoiler-Free reactions: I thought it would be darker than it ended up being. Some of my predictions came true, some were shot down, and something happened that took me by surprise. Also, I like Jax more now. Kinger's still the goat, but Jax gained some likeability points for me

I just realized that I haven't posted my thoughts on #Obsession. So far, this is my favorite movie this year! It's so creepy, but not for traditional reasons. Nikki, they will never make me not feel horrible for you, and Bear, you got what was coming for you

I've spent almost the whole day crying and missing my mom. The one good thing about today was when Dotty suddenly jumped up on me (she normally asks), got in my face, and started licking my tears from my face.
