Alcohol problems & eating disorders may overlap more often than health services recognise. 🔎 Researchers found that difficulties with emotional regulation, low self-esteem and impulsivity may contribute to both. Yet treatment for alcohol problems and disordered eating is often provided separately.

Could a simple change in nutrition help reduce aggression & violence in society? An analysis of 28 clinical trials concluded that "the time has come" to put omega-3 supplementation into practice. The data shows that omega-3 reduces: 📉 Externalizing behaviour by ~33% 📉 Antisocial behaviour by ~22%

#Tobacco companies once paid doctors and scientists to muddy the evidence. Has anything really changed? Food, alcohol, pharmaceutical, gambling and other industries can fund the very professionals, institutions and organisations involved in researching, advising on or regulating their products.
