As a vet, it's clear to me that there is no end game. Trump/Maga will milk it for what it's worth, making money while achieving nothing else but loss of life, material and alienating our allies. If Afghanistan is the benchmark. Trump will dump this on the next president. If there is one.

I tutored poli-sci, lit and history. I've been around the country and global blocks. The level of ignorance being spewed on social media from ALL sides is disheartening. I was going to become a history professor, but then I found many of the instructors at my school were part of the problem.

On a side note, what I've often suggested is creating a peoples Lobby. Unions are almost powerless and all the current lobbies work for the wealthy. A public Lobby could take small donations from the at large populace and use it for pushing a small agenda.

I think what will come is going to happen, gradually, no matter what most of us do. Instead of an outright civil war I think we can see signs of what's to come. States rights growing and chipping away at Federal agency. Ecomically, thats a win for us.

I do...and it's not really a belief. There are so many reasons why, but diminishing returns from a democracy that's no longer a compromise on both sides and an education system that has created democracies flaw. Change does not mean, to give up hope. It means we need to stop beating a dead horse.
