The simracing community obsess a lot about FOV relative to your viewing position. There's tools to calculate it too. For shooters, it's mostly about awareness to me, and in MP I'd be at a disadvantage if only I do realistic FOV.

Some of my friends don't have FBT, and they like the mildly better immersion of seeing their avi sitting down. They only really do VRC when they hang out with me occasionally. I'll make them some custom avis with GoGoLoco someday, then they can "sit" anywhere.

I use some KTM plugs I found in a store. Does the job but only when I put them in correctly, I put the helmet on correctly, and I don't use my ear-rumbling abilities to pop the correct pressure differences. I may need something more bespoke I guess.

Start/stop systems are usually made so it takes minimal effort of the starter and battery to get going. It's mainly for emissions reasons. Try a modern EV and you'll find a lot more to be bothered about. Tons of electronic nannies and chimes.

Very true. I find that a lot of beginners get overwhelmed with options and irrelevant features. A pure raster drawing software like Krita is much more suitable than a do-everything app like Affinity/PS.

Steam already does this for you via the refund policy, kinda. You get 2hrs of playtime for 2 weeks of deliberation to work with regardless when you buy a game. From a devs perspective they get 2 hrs to convince you to keep the game.
