YOU - “Our lives are very different from each other.” JOYCE MESSIER - “No doubt -- but we share the same time and position on the planet's crust. That counts for more than you'd think.”

Twitter has singlehandedly created a weird type of inaccessability. If the ONLY WAY I can contact you for important information regarding something and/or to commission you or ANYTHING, is to make a Twitter account? Then friend, that's not accessible. I'm not making a Twitter account. TikTok too.

Was able to get some of my medicine last night, had a nice time watching my friends play Minecraft while I worked on art, played solo repo, and ate so much fucking air fried twice baked potato. I was high as shit, didn't feel any arthritis pain, anxiety, I was comfy.

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands pretty ridiculous. (alt text added)

A post from a FurAffinity developer blog which says:

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider "adult content" is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and "barbie doll nudity" to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters cant be posed or dressed "too provocatively."

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they're legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren't, we don't touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

I've been seeing some really bad treatment of Guests of Honor at conventions, paid actors, and Haunted House actors lately, and I'm extremely disappointed and disgusted. NEVER touch a haunt actor. NEVER put your hands on a stranger.

text that says "Public Service Announcement: Haunt Actors are Paid Human Beings Often times, they are MINORS. DO. NOT. TOUCH. THEM.

Kiddo was watching Lego One Piece and in an attempt to try and convince her to watch anime One Piece I accidentally made her interested in watching Naruto instead so now we're watching Naruto until bedtime.

Saw someone ask an artist "is your gore references ethically sourced?" and made me think of where I've been getting references from to practice with and I'm like. Is Tumblr eroguro an ethical source or are we gonna castrate me? Some of that art is gorgeous, don't look at me.

My favorite soup is broccoli cheddar in a sourdough bread bowl, but I've never made it myself (YET). HOWEVER, there is one my mom makes for me that I LOVE this time of year. She's gonna be sending me the recipe soon, its her creamy sweet potato chicken soup with pumpkin seeds on top.

For anyone wanting a small glimpse into what it's like being schizophrenic, the other night I came out of the bathroom and saw a black figure of a woman crouched down on the ground on all fours scuttling towards me before scuttling away again. And I'm used to this, so my reaction was "damn girlie"
