Wearing my orange shirt for Truth and Reconciliation Day! Today's an important day to listen and learn, and I'm always happy to show support for Indigenous communities! Hope y'all take some time to do the same! #art #artist #digitalartist #digitalart #digitaldrawing #truthandreconciliation

I went and got myself a pumpkin spice latte to celebrate the first official day of fall! Yes I'm a pumpkin spice girlie. No it's not overrated

Tim Hortons finally has matcha on their menu. I gave it a try today and it's pretty good!

Just heard that we're not doing daylight savings anymore where I live. I'm glad, because having to change my clocks was always more annoying than useful. The little extra sunlight just isn't enough to be worth it.

One of the things I'm still getting used to in the new city is that my commute to work takes 30 minutes each way. I find I have way less time to work on art than I used to. I'm aiming to find an apartment closer to work, which should hopefully help with that.

Had myself some city dessert this weekend!

It was 9 degrees C this morning, maybe it's time to put my shorts away for the year.

Lately I've been hitting up the library in the new city. It surprised me that there's always a decent amount of people there. Good to know there are fellow bookworms out there!

A little space axolotl I drew. The idea for this one just kind of randomly came to me. Still, it gave me a good excuse to practice drawing galaxy backgrounds. #art #artist #digitalart #digitalartist #drawing #digitaldrawing

Y'all know what I just found? My pen stylus that I thought I lost! Where was it? In my laptop bag, right where I thought a packed it! I swear I looked in there multiple times, and it just stopped existing until today. #artist

I've officially started apartment hunting. Hopefully it doesn't take as long as my job hunt did 😅

By the power of Walmart, I now have a new pen stylus! It's not as nice as my old one, but it'll do. #artist

Between moving and starting the new job, I haven't had many chances to break out my drawing tablet for a bit. I think this weekend I'll get back to some digital drawing. #artist #digitalartist #drawing #digitaldrawing

Trying out some local treats in the new city!

An ice cream sundae topped with strawberries sits on a cafe table.

I seem to have lost my stylus pen. I'm guessing I either lost it in the move or left it at my mom's house. How am I going to make silly little doodles on my phone now? 😞 I still have my actual drawing tablet, but sometimes I just like doing quick sketches on the go. #artist

Moving out is great until you do laundry and then hang all your clothes across your suitcases because you don't have a drying rack. Anyways, I uh, need to make a trip to the store today.

First week of work went alright pretty good! I've been getting lots of experience with the shop's printing and cutting equipment. I really like it there! #graphicdesigner

Gotta figure out a proper drawing setup for my new room. I'm not bringing any furniture (including my desk) to the new city until I get my own apartment. Today I tried drawing on my art board while just sitting on the floor, but that's gonna be terrible for my back if I keep it up. #artist

Been playing around with Illustrator's envelope distort tool, and put together some summer food themed poster designs for the fun of it! I got the idea for this from seeing some similar pieces on Pinterest. #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #art #artist #digitalart #digitalartist #summer

I might be posting my art stuff a bit less frequently, but for now I want to keep up with it. I stared out just wanting to showcase my skills to help me find a job someday, but for now I want to keep up with my art skills and keep connecting with fellow artists. #artist #graphicdesigner #art

After 7 weeks, my job hunt is over! I'll be working as a junior designer (which is behind all my recent talk of moving). I'll be doing design and print work, basically my dream job! Final score: 25 applications, 9 rejections, 2 interviews, and 16 positions I didn't hear back from. #graphicdesigner

I got boba from my favourite place in my hometown for the last time today. I'll be back from time to time, but it's one of those little things I'll miss when I'm all moved out.

I'm moving! So far I've got one suitcase packed full of manga!

I made some stickers of my avatar! I had a few technical difficulties with the cutting machine while making these, so I ended up just cutting them by hand. Just gotta roll with the punches! #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #art #artist #stickers

Commissions were a side project I decided to experiment with a few months ago. I plan on opening them again, but first I need to sort a few things and tweak my commission platform. #artist

F. Maggie @f-maggie.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I'm closing my art commissions for a little while. I've got a lot of life stuff going on (mostly exciting things) and don't want to stress about finding time for them during it all. #artist
