On June 2, 1995 a US F-16 was shot down by a Serb-launched missile while on patrol over Bosnia. The pilot, Capt. Scott O'Grady, ejected safely and landed behind Serb lines. He was rescued 6 days later. Check out the story about Maj. Thomas Hanford though f-16.net/pilots-profi... #AviationHallOfFame
