#linktober Day 31: Free For All Our ally, Lana, and our foe, Cia, are one and the same. Born from the same heart, yet totally opposite qualities. I cannot forgive Cia for what she has done… and I don’t know if I can ever fully understand Lana’s intentions behind her actions…

Lana in blue, on the left, looks apprehensively at the audience, holding open a book with magic flowing from it. Behind her/to her right, is Cia with her body turned away by her head turned to look menacingly at the audience. She holds her staff in her left hand and her right arm is lifted up slightly, her hand balled into a fist. In the background is the fades Hylian crest, with the Triforce of Power glowing. Above the symbol is the Master Sword and Princess Zelda’s rapier, crossing over one another

#linktober Day 30: Wild It is with the force of everything I have ever known and loved that I face head on against the greatest foe I have ever known to exist. The very essence of evil itself comes for me, but it can be defeated, and I will do whatever it takes to do so.

Captain leaps in the air, the Master Sword and shield in hands. He faces right, eyes angry and determined. His scarf blows in the wind, the Hylian crest on the scarf in the foreground

#linktober Day 29: Link + Epona My horse, Epona, who I was gifted when I got my rank of Captain, never has much time for rest, so I always give her pats and food myself when I can. She’s a dear companion, and I don’t think any other horse could be as brave as she is on the field

Captain standing with his eyes closed and a smile, patting Epona’s nose. Epona, the horse, stands slightly in frame with her eyes closed as well

#linktober Day 28: Mask Princess Zelda wanted to relax a bit with Destiny, and took the Bunny Hood from her at camp, and Sky wanted in on the fun too. Her Highness then got Dusk involved too, somehow, but they all seemed pretty happy in the end.

Majesty (left) wears the Bunny Hood with a smile on her face. Destiny (right) looks at Majesty with a hand on her own hip. In the upper right, the chibi faces of Sky and Dusk appear, with both wearing the Bunny Hood. The text besides Sky reads: “wanted to join in” and the text besides Dusk reads: “forced to join in”

#linktober Shadow Day 27: Cursed Deity allowed me to look at the mask he has on him, after I mentioned it looked similar to the man that saved me and Princess Zelda. He mentioned it was cursed, but I don’t feel any evil intent from the mask.

Deity and Captain stand across from one another, Deity stands with his arms crossed, looking up at Captain while Captain holds the Fierce Deity Mask in his hands, looking down at it. Captain says: “Cursed, hm?” And Deity replies “…or something like that.”

#linktober Day 26: Zelda Branded by Wisdom, her knowledge is unmatched, her composure always calm and collected. For the sake of the knights she commands, and the civilians who rely on her, she cannot and will not be shattered by those who wish to assail her.

#linktober Day 25: Twilight Twilight had revealed his human form to us, after being a wolf for so long, and Midna, our now longtime companion, seemed to be quite buddy-buddy with him… actually, I think… I think they may have been lovers, in the era they hail from.

Twilight looking at Midna, sword and shield in hand, while Midna in her Impa form has her hand on his Paul from, grinning and leaning against him, her pony tail stretches out slightly.

#lintober Shadow Day 24: Corrupted There were no words for what Hylia had shown us, the marking upon her back was a clear sign of a power that had been corrupted, yet the fact she could still use magic at all seemed nothing less than a miracle.

Hylia with her back facing the audience, her hair over her shoulder. Her tunic is faded to show the skin on her back, revealing a black mark with an upside down Triforce. The text reads: “All of us bear a mark of Power. But mine has been… tainted.”

#linktober Day 23: Echo I’ve not seen Princess Zelda look so…unsure of herself. Several of her ancestors are here, and yet… she seems so discouraged. She looks so much like them, too. The pressure she must feel to do a good job at ruling the Kingdom must be tenfold, now.

#linktober Day 22: Cold Spirit and Conductor are among our youngest allies, and they don’t do too well in the cold, so I decided to give them my scarf for a bit, to help them warm up. …I just hope they don’t lose it.

Spirit (left) and Conductor (right) look to the side with smiles and the blue scarf from Captain is wrapped around them. Spirit says: “Thank you! We’re much warmer now!” And Conductor says “Y-Yeah!”

#linktober Day 21: Instrument Princess Zelda is known to love the entertainment of Hyrule. In fact, it’s rumoured she has put on a concert playing her harp and singing along, but more popular gossip tells of music that all of Hyrule can hear coming from the castle…

#linktober Shadow Day 20: Disguise Ever mysterious, Sheik does not talk of his past or what face lies behind his mask. Despite that, however, I find he bears a similarity to the Princess herself, he displays an aura of wisdom I have seen in no other but Princess Zelda…

Sheik holding his harp, one arm holding it across the bottom and the other across the top, his hand curling over the top of it. Behind him is a shadow of Princess Zelda (Majesty)

#linktober Day 18: Dance The Hyrulean army won against Cia, thanks to Princess Zelda’s leadership and Commander Impa’s orders, and as a celebration, Her Highness decides to throw a ball for all her soldiers—and for us lucky few, we even got to dance with her!

Link (Captain) holding Zelda (Majesty) in a dance. Zelda’s back is arched and she holds Link’s collar, with her other arm flowing back. Her left leg is bent and midair. Zelda deviates from her usual plait hairstyle to that of a ponytail instead

#linktober Shadow Day 17: Sinister From what I recall of Lana’s tale; she and Cia, as the combined Goddess of Time, had a troubled heart. A rumbling desire for more, to be more than just a Goddess. That’s when the true evil struck, and the reason Cia and Lana split.

The Goddess of Time stands holding her staff and her book, looking at the contents of the book. Beside her stands her crystal ball. In the background is an evil eye and a sinister grin of a being with cruel intentions

#linktober Day 16: Merchant Hylia found… a rabbit. A purple rabbit. Lana tells us it could be a person trapped in the body of a rabbit but it sounds… well, it sounds very unlikely. Just *who* could possibly transform into a rabbit?? And maybe more importantly; WHY?

Hylia (Zelda from Skyward Sword) holding a rabbit in her arms, looking with pleading eyes, saying “Can we keep him?!” A small speech bubble is pointed at the rabbit and shows the face of Ravio from A Link Between Worlds with the small caption of “Oops…”

#linktober Day 14: Statue At the Temple of Souls, we came across statues. Statues of every Hero and every Princess; statues that the Goddess of Time built to preserve the memory as each duo overcomes evil. But the statue of the Goddess Hylia and the Hero of Hylia… it’s…

Lana standing at the base of a large statue, with the body of the Goddess Hylia and the First Hero standing, holding the Goddess Sword. In the foreground of the piece, the head of the Goddess Hylia statue rests, severed and cracked.

#linktober Day 13: Village My little sister, Linkle, loves an adventure. She was so jealous when I decided to become a knight. I hope she isn’t too envious nowadays, if she hears of this war, I hope she doesn’t do anything stupid…like attempt to join in on the fighting.

Linkle half-turned, waving “good-bye” with her hand in the air. She has one foot turned up slightly, beginning to take another step. She stands at the end of a path leading from a village. Along the sides of the path, there are fences and small gardens.

#linktober Day 12: Obscure Characters Lana had told us the truth of her and Cia—they are one and the same, yet with their drastic personalities, it’s hard to believe they came from the same heart. But their outfits and hair… those are strangely coordinated… I think there’s even more to them…

Cia (left) is linking arms with Lana (right). Cia looks moody and disgruntled while Lana is winking and is happy

#linktober Day 11: Nightmare It’s said that the Hylian royal bloodline possess strange abilities, their magic can weave time and work light, bending to their will. Yet, sometimes, they are said to be gifted with foresight; sometimes perhaps prophetic words or a dream…

Hylia (Zelda from Skyward Sword) crying with her hair in the wind. In top left is a darkened memory of the Goddess Hylia holding out her hand to the Goddess of Time. The text reads “I trusted you with your duty—how did you end up like this?!”

Happy 3 year anniversary to Xenoblade Chronicles 3! 🎉🎉 I cannot understate the impact this game has had on me tbh Between the story, the world to explore, the music, and the voice acting, it’s just simply an incredible game that I would highly recommend playing if you’re given the chance
