I've been listening to a lot of albums lately and buying Vinyl again. It helps my perma-depression quite a lot. Pretty surprised at what I'm liking these days! I'll have to do a thread at some point once I can get past something obvious like "David Bowie is good"

Bonnie Raitt's second album "Give it Up" with young Bonnie on a purple vinyl sleeve

A CD Copy of the Alan Parson's project "I, Robot." The artwork actually looks kind of poorly printed and horrible. The vinyl is far nicer looking

Apparently today is the anniversary of Nine Inch Nails "The Fragile." I remember liking it but apparently I instantly forgot about it as I just left for my first semester of college. It's pretty classic, my feelings on tracks are oddly the same as I remember.

The cover of the album "The Fragile." I'm not sure what the abstract art is supposed to represent. Wikipedia says:

"The cover artwork was designed by David Carson. A section within his book Fotografiks[16][17] reveals that the top section of the album cover is from a photo of a waterfall and the bottom section is from a closeup photo of the inside of a seashell."

Artists, QRP with your favourite portrait you’ve drawn. Hard to pick one but I rarely get to see this MF DOOM screenprint I did anymore.

MF DOOM with a firey mic, painted into the brick wall behind him, with Zev Love X in the foreground witnessing the death of his brother.

The screen printed poster on black paper of the previous artwork.

my favorite part of being a working creative: the sideburns problem

a still shot from the Simpson's Episode "Homer at the Bat" where Burns yells "Mattingly! I thought I told you to trim those sideburns!"

It plots a surveyed sentiment (perceived economic stress about high prices) against CPI, consumer price index which I can't pretend to know that much about CPI, but it does say it's specifically a measure of CHANGE and not the fact that I'm still stressed from prices 4-5 years ago

A SMART person looks at a graph like this and thinks "what am I missing, what else do we need to look into" and then does more science They don't just say "lmao everyone is so stupid except me"

Speaking of I had completely memory holed the Ultimate Warrior sticker that I drew. Still new to the fandom, a queer wrestling fan told me about the shitty things that Warrior said and I got rid of them all and stopped selling them
