Bookwyrm seems to have a problem with authority, in the library science sense. She is the author of both of those, but I can only select one.
Adding a new book to Bookwyrm, I'm asked if the author is the author of one of two different things.

Here's an odd one. In #Gnome if I have automatic #timezone detection on, it puts me in "Busingen, Germany", which is probably the closest geographically within Germany to me. The timezone there is CEST, but something in #Ubuntu or Gnome is insisting it's UTC […] [Original post on teh.entar.net]
Settings page showing how it thinks Busingen is UTCThe clock shows it as UTC`date` shows it as CESTAnd the "select timezone screen" shows it as UTC+0200

Any idea why the Philips Hue dimmer is so inconsistent with its battery reporting? It doesn't get used more than a few times per day

A newspaper. The plot-relevant headline is "'Star of Samarkand' on display at Stonewin's Salon", but a smaller headline is "Mercury new x-ray source, two scientists report"

Yesterday I got to go to #TeHikoiMuseum which is one of the more detailed sources that @ExhibitExplorer uses. I highly recommend it. It tells the story of the history of the area, from both a Māori and Pakeha perspective, then a combination. #Riverton #Aparima #Southland #Murihiku #AotearoaNZ
