iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Today is my sister's birthday. Even though we've recently each gotten our own gaming niches, we still have a lot of overlap that we come together on and play together. My entire gaming and fandom experiences would be MUCH different without her to enjoy them with. Happy birthday, sis~ 💙

A collage of various pairs of characters depicting a brother-&-sister duo on multiple fandoms via OCs/self-inserts.

The center consists two Miis, made and rendered with the MiiCreator website, posing together. The brother is slightly faded out on right, a normal male Mii with default brown hair, fanned out backhair with cyan fade-in gradient, default Mii face overall with a smirk mouth, crossing his long-sleeved arms and looking upwards in a wizard outfit of yellow coat and white undercoat, a blue bow on his chest, cyan shoes and blue socks, a yellow halo over his head, and a winged blue Koopa shell on his back.
The sister's on the left is highlighted by a white glove, a default female Mii face with blue eyes and a smile, posing cutely with her pink superhero costume with purple boots and white gloves and highlights, winking at the camera as she's posed slightly leftwards, showing green wings with pink outlights on her back, and a green Hibiscus flower atop her messy middle-long hair with the default front hair.

Below them: brown-haired recolor of Claus from Mother 3 and orange-haired cyan dress and purple ribbon recolor of Paula from EarthBound in Mother 3 sprite style, from a pic made by TSGPrestonEvans for PSI Universe.
Above: recolors of Roll and Ice Man from Mega Man. The Roll with green aura shares her color scheme with the aforementioned Paula, while the Ice Man's palette is different colors in each 8-bit segment; red hoodie, cyan right arm, yellow left arm, and green pants. From the author's old sprite comic.
Bottom left: a ribbon/feather wearing brown Yoshi made with a Picrew and a cyan-dress multicolor heart princess made with AzaleaGames's "Princess Maker".
Bottom right: OP's hybrid Victini/Jirachi sona and a white heterochromia-eyes (green-purple w/ purple glasses) Great Sage Mew for his sister
On their sides each: their Fire Emblem Heroes summoners, with FE CharacterCreator versions
Top corners of each's side: Sonic Forces & Xenoverse 2 ingame sonas.

Scholarship was refused (my grades weren't good enough to afford yet another one), meaning my reinscription is now pointless to go through with. I finally have to confront the one thing I fear facing: entering the job market (for more than a small internship).

Thanks to Twitter's terrible "human" verification process, I'll permanently be here now instead. ... not gonna change anything much, since UnovaForSmash was already routinely being on here anyways, but now that just means I'm no longer using Twitter at all; on either account. :P

Google'ing "hat kid real name" sent me down a rabbit hole I was NOT prepared for at all, but damn is it so fascinating.

Once again, I just wish to wish a happy birthday to @zerosuitviolet.bsky.social, a special friend whose streams lift my mood up most of the year. It was a rough year for most of our group, but I'm always thankful for these cherished friendships. #MMD #pokemonart #omori #DDLC #supermario #zelda

A scene made in MikuMikuDance, set in Ghostly Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy, specifically the room where Luigi is initially found trapped. The angle of the room is inside, past the inside bars and tilted so the outside bars cover the left side of the room.
A Kirlia sits on the stool, playing a white grand piano. Besides her is a Minccino emitting a purple glow, as if merely imagined to be real, yet who joyfully watches the Kirlia's performance as the Kirlia smiles back at her. The Minccino shares its aura with a ghostly apparition of Mari from "Omori" right behind her, thus implied to be who the Minccino actually is, as she took looks downwards at the Kirlia's piano performance with joy on her face.
Besides the grand piano itself is an noise-glitching apparition of Monika from "Doki Doki Literature Club", manifested with a white aura and who looks upon the Kirlia's pianoa performance with a content look on her face as well.
Further behind Mari's apparition is a dark silhouette of the true form of Midna from "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess", mostly spectating from the shadows with a blue glow reminiscient of their Twili magic.
On the outside balcony, behind the bars of the large window, the Cosmic Spirit, an apparition of Rosalina from "Super Mario Galaxy", stands, watching over the performance with a caring gaze, her white light standing out from the beautiful cosmos behind her (taken from Gateway Galaxy's background instead of Ghostly Galaxy's).

Effects used: AdultShader, DarkSeriousShader, DarkAdultShader, Noise, Black (Monochrome pack), Stars (Sphere Map Only pack), ObjectLuminous, NewToon.
(All characters are trademark of their original owners, I have only used these elements to compose the scene itself)

Been using @unvale.bsky.social to host some of my Pokémon OCs (mostly ones used on or for @unovaforsmash.bsky.social), and since it's been such a convenient repository, I'd figure I'd take part in the #UnvaleIntros community activity (even if I don't know anyone else on the site... 😅).

I am going to throw every single copy of the US manual of Sonic CD and every single copy of the Mario 2 (both USA and Lost Levels) manual(s) into a freaking fire, I swear to god.

Games that Tenor GIFs will keep lying to you about because their makers are salty 2010s toddlers gaslighting themselves that their childhood isn't the bad one and instead this otherwise-amazing low point is. ... if you're one of those, stop being a piss baby and actually debate your case.

Did Nintendo just, forget about these two or smth This is the third time they kept winking at Super Mario Land fans with Birabuto stuff, and now really only adding a very slim amount of Easton (by using its local enemies), but Muda and Chai are COMPLETELY absent from Mario Kart World altogether.

Found this on UnovaForSmash's feed, figured I'd give it a shot. ... WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE 40+ OCS. (I blame PMD. I have, like, 19 Pokemon OCs alone, and only two are trainers. XD)

"This is my Relic Fragment. It's my personal treasure. I have this dream of one day solving the mystery behind this fragment." - Partner, PMD2 Happy birthday @zerosuitviolet.bsky.social ! Here's a tiny little blast from the past~ (featuring bunny @lolikohocotate.bsky.social) [Credits in alt text]

On the lowest floor of a Guild, in the new team's dorm, a Buneary is standing by the night view of the window, having put a small rock with an odd pattern on it on the floor to explain it to their Ralts friend, who is standing on the hay bed closest to the entrance, curious.

Image made using MikuMikuDance.
Ralts and Buneary ported by CelestCSilvarii.
Wigglytuff's Guild ripped by redblueyellow.
Effects used: DarkToon and AdultShader.

Today's my 25th birthday~! Didn't exactly get a lot today, but that's ok. Sis got me the new Mario & Luigi, and I smiled all day when people kept pinging me on Discord to wish me a happy birthday. Still really love that drawing that friendo @omar2203.bsky.social made for my birthday last year tho.

Art of my sona (a light-grey-and-cyan Victini with Jirachi traits like the "ribbon tails" and reverse-pyramid-shaped eye markings as well as a yellow "belt") wearing a white-and-orange striped party hat with dark blue fur.
Made by O.M.A.R. for my birthday last year in 2024.

You know, maybe I don't need @discord.com Nitro anymore. I will give up twenty full emote servers and constant access to all my emotes from across every server I'm in, if it meant removing those garbage sponsored AI apps from all the chats I talk in.

@discord.com You have let us down. We are highly disappointed in you. Instead of embracing the tons of artist on your platform, you chose to integrate AI features to mess with their art.

Oshawott, Tepig (it was really close between him and Cyndaquil tbh), and uhhh... Chespin. (Just because I run an Unova acc does not mean ALL of them are necessarily my favorites. '^^) [And aside from him and Sprigatito, idc for a lot of the Grass starters]
