This Day in Video Game History: Forty years ago today, on September 26th, 1986, the original #Castlevania game launched in Japan! It came out for the Famicom Disk System, and the NES version arrived in North America on April 30th, 1987.

10 years ago I coloured my hair purple. We at @extralifeyyc.bsky.social lost a bet with our #Edmonton rivals, so I had to do go purple to honour @stollerykids.bsky.social. If we won, their social media person would've had to get their hair done blue, that's the Alberta Children's Hospital's colour.

Gio is being treated for high-risk neuroblastoma at Wolfson Children’s, is a Spider-Man fan, and can often be found wrapped up in his favorite Spidey blanket. So when a window washer appeared outside his hospital room looking a little like a certain superhero, you can imagine the reaction. 🕷️
