The second thing I ever made (2011) and one of the same weave I made more recently. Even though I started pretty strong, I can still see tons of improvements I’m glad I learned to make. You can always get better somehow; don’t think you’re stuck, whether you’re at the bottom or doing your best.

Made some funky experimental fidget toys a few days ago. All of the large rings “inside” the weave are rosettes, meaning two rings entwined. The pyramids are ~*lovely*~ to play with (⬇️video) and I’m kind of obsessed. The hex flat is also the perfect weight and thickness.

I once broke my foot washing my car. lmao On an incline, the drive had brand new asphalt, I had slick shoes on, and was on the edge of my driveway when my foot slid off and landed on its side with my full weight on it. 😖 4 weeks before senior prom and 6 weeks before my high school graduation. lol
