Got so excited that I finally decided what JDM car I wanted to import, but totally forgot to think about like.... safety, and the one I want doesn't even have airbags sooooo guess that settles it. No cars from the last decade grab me like the MR2, but not worth the risk.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I never want characters in games to look like the actors. One major benefit that, I believe, games have over tv/movies is that you can fully immerse the player with unique looking characters instead of reminding them of an actor.

I get why a lot of consumers like leaks, but they really suck for the game devs and marketing teams. You wait so damn patiently for the day you're finally announcing/showing more stuff off, but then that hype and excitement gets stolen from you early. Never fun to go through.

I was so worried about not playing as Kazuma Kiryu in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, but Ichiban Kasuga convinced me everything would be okay in record time. Super impressive that they pulled it off so easily and quickly.

Worked through the fear of upping my ADHD med dosage and, after the first few days of side effects, it's so much better. I feel how I always hoped the lower dosage would make me feel. Finding meds/dosages suck but it's so worth it when you finally find it. Just wish I didn't need them at all 🙃

Fuck anyone who pushes the idea that ADHD isn't a disorder that can be incredibly debilitating. I wish they could go be in my head for one hour to realize how fucking exhausting and frustrating it is moment to moment even when medicated, and all the extra possible issues that can arise e.g. insomnia

Just hit 50 games played* so far in 2026. Pretty good range genre wise (wish I could play horror haha) Good amount of new games, lots of old ones I returned to, and a bunch that had been in my backlog that I finally got around to. Not bad. *played, not necessarily beaten

Playing FFX in high school was the first time ever that I went "Wait, video games can have stories like this??" and it likely changed the entire trajectory of my life. It didn't make me suddenly want to be a writer, but I think it subconsciously played a major role in picking my major and career.

1. The percentage of people at a studio actually making the decisions vs. those completing the tasks handed to them. 2. Most devs do (or will at some point) work on games they aren't passionate about. Game dev is a job like any other and sometimes it's just a paycheck/you can't afford to just quit.

Walking in a crosswalk yesterday when a car accelerated into me and tossed me into another lane soooo yeah. I'm okay, just sore in some spots and some mental damage, but oof there were a couple moments I legit thought I was donezo. Thankfully the cars going 40mph where I stumbled stopped in time.
