iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

“ It feels mystical, similar to that of my esteemed self. ”

“ Your wavelength isn't that of a human, so I've come to make a better assessment of that. ” Said with a perpetual smile that grew wider; her colorless eyes soon meeting her vibrant green hues. Such a gaze only added more sickening pressure to the cambion's perception. ↓

The closer they drew near, the thicker the air seemed to become. “ Hm, I guess you can say that. It's something I look forward to. ” Looking over her shoulder and at a cloaked kindred. Gilzea too spoke calmly, even if her vocals were hoarse.

Being near her for longer would only increase his tolerance. That annoying buzz was beginning to die down bit by bit, despite him getting closer. “ Not at all. However, it could be worse. ”

Well, that marks the end of the tour. A shame that some won't remember it.

“ Oh, ringing? ” She perks up, black pigtails bouncing with her movement. “ Give it some time and it will fade out, others have had it worse. There isn't too much I can do about the effects of my esteemed self, you see. ”

000

“ Don't let me hold you up if that's the case. Perhaps we'll cross paths again. ” Brows quirk at the shift in energy from the boy, slightly tilting her head. It's natural for a hero to have limits. “ Also, I did refer to myself as a <𝑺𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹 𝑾𝑶𝑴𝑨𝑵>, but that isn't my name... That would be Gilzea. ”

↓ . . . There's low and fuzzy crackling noises building up in the area's ambience, similar to radio static and white noise. It was only getting incrementally louder by the second, the longer they conversed.

Nod. “ It is the brand of my bloodline, and what I inevitably leave on my foes as it's Monarch. ” Gilzea spoke with certainty, onyx eyes watching the metallic parts of the man melt away. It wasn't a clean process like many other transformations she's seen in her lifetime. ↓

“ You possess aura of a fighter... What is it that you strive for? ” Asked Gilzea, her voice raspy and low in pitch.

000

“ A nice name, Ventus. I am Gilzea, the Clawed Monarch. ” Might as well be polite. The longer she stood near him, the stranger the surroundings felt from her being. Temperatures rising one second and plummeting the next, constantly fluctuating. ↓

#SmileSunday? It may not be special coming from one who smiles as much as her esteemed self does, but she couldn't possibly let the occasion pass.

She looks nothing like the average person, so that was one thing. . . But pretty? Not often does she hear that compliment — although it is from someone who is clueless to her existence. “ So you're a "Chainsaw Hero" of sorts. I deem myself a <𝑺𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹 𝑾𝑶𝑴𝑨𝑵>. ”

“ The pleasure is mutual, young man. ”

“ Unscathed. ” Bluntly said, observing the abundance of blood and gore. Just being near this woman. . . It made the already gruesome atmosphere feel chillier than normal. “ I was coming to watch, but it seems you've made quick work of that devil. If that is the correct term. ”

// Saying this just in case I do happen to write any fights with Gilzea: If you want that whack ass causality magic (that hasn't even been fully explained yet) to not be involved or be a little less bullshitty, just let me know. We write for fun here, not frustration.

“ Duty called at a bad time, I imagine. ” With her usual eerie smile, she looked towards the chainsaw-wielding man as her Twin Fangs came to a sudden halt, sending any remaining blood on them to splat on the ground behind her. The blades then returned to floating at her sides.

000

Looking up at the fall of matter, Gilzea lets her floating blades spin above and around herself at blurring speeds... creating a umbrella-like buzz saw while floatily hopping out of the way. “ Pardon my obstruction. ”

The biter found themselves bit on the exact area they targeted instead, by some anomalous occurrence. Hopefully it wasn't too hard. “ I don't think my esteemed self would taste good. ”

“ Verily so. It's a splendid balance of hot and cold. ” The chains of her cuffs clink as she turns herself, looking to Ventus with an everlasting smile. This expression seemed to be a regular thing for her. “ And you seem well collected, young man. What is your name? ”

000

“ That is the color of the sky, yes. ” The air grows cold. A bird above staggers in flight, before continuing on with reduced vigor. Her presence then finally makes itself known beside him. Soundless, pitch-black eyes looking up. How long had she been there, or even around? “ I prefer purple. ”

“ The sun is a mildly bothersome thing at times, being so radiant. ” Doesn't help with all the black she's wearing, but Gilzea doesn't care enough. She's going to find a suitable beverage.

000

Beyond a high(and considerably high at that) threshold of speed and power, this ability can be bypassed. Some wit will maybe even do the trick. Some may call her a cheater-- Gilzea on the other hand deems her esteemed self absolute, yet open to being surpassed.

000

Her magic can be exhibited in a few ways; from the manipulation of her blood, blades and most importantly causality, being able to alter the cause and effect of incoming attacks. For example, someone cutting her will result in the effect of them being cut if she can perceive and react to it.

➣ As a Dragon Monarch, Gilzea is among the pinnacle of creatures in her world. She wields the Twin Fangs from her set of forged magic weapons, the "Six Claws and Twin Fangs". With her Fangs, she can impose temporary laws upon whatever she cuts and even affect the non-physical.
