I need to do more digging. Only saw double bass in jazz (live gigs) and never saw an impressive solo like that. Thanks for sharing.

#AuralVisualConnection #MusicChallenge Song based on provided album cover but can’t be from the record, featured artist, cover of songs 7 days only Oct 1 My choice Mashlin "Letter to a Mentor" www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDmi... ⬅️ Good @fervorcoulee.bsky.social reads my responses. Won't tell how I know😉

George Jones leaning against a tree, surrounded by fallen, golden, leaves. He appears to be writing or drawing on a pad. In the background, an ornate church shaped like a barn stands. There is also a reflecting pool. Autumn. Blue sky.

Nice! I think I did my response wrong, did not interpret "slap" bass properly! Seen many people play the double bass, especially in jazz, but never seen it slapped like that! 😃

No,you're fine. Yes, most especially large companies are sh!t employers. But with Pret I point out a lot of their BS because they make lofty claims of portraying themselves as ethical while being rotten like most companies. No company that I know make such claims and many fall for it still.

Pret put staff thru the grind via strict weekly mystery shopper visits, micromanaging staff. If ONE staff doesn't smile, NO-ONE in the shop gets the weekly bonus. Examples in 3 consecutive slides: youtube.com/watch?v=-llc... < Also search for Timothy Noah "The Enforced Happiness of Pret A Manger"
