tuulta has always been basically sinfonia's uncle, well before he stepped up as godfather. he also grew his hair out because babyfonia loved to reach for it. posted bc i still really love this piece and i think about it a LOT. #ocsky art by @kiraelric.bsky.social (he also owns sinfonia + shokki)

the move finally feels real omg 😭 my last few moves have been in the midst of actual attempts on my life so having one that's positive instead of neutral or bad is nice actually. i also appreciate that the place i'm moving is gated so even if my abusers do find my address, they CANNOT get to me 😤

i mostly write free verse and confessional type poetry for the same reason, it's very good for getting feelings out. i recommend just starting and seeing what you make, then edit AFTER it's done

there are also MORE struggles that aren't explicitly written in the DSM-V but often are a big part of it. your self-esteem wears down, your self-efficacy is worn thin, nothing ever feels rewarding, and even things you enjoy can be like pulling teeth to do.

all this was written to say that ADHD *is* actively disabling, even if you don't see it. the perfectionism, the struggle with self-regulation, the on/off switch with no in-between... this shit all lasts into adulthood. it doesn't go away, and i'm TIRED of the internet treating it like a stereotype.

1. "Often fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, at work, or during other activities." i have left out details bc my brain doesn't realize they're not there. page numbers, date labels, initials, etc. i get scolded often. this leads to perfectionism.
