Have you tried Hotel Dusk Room 215?. It's a nifty noir?? type detective game with a super moody sketch art style. Game lets you jot down notes n' draw on the bottom screen too.

The smaller screen paired with incredible artwork was so perfect. It makes me a big bummed that gen 5's style was cut so short. Don't get me wrong, X and Y, i still find wonderful. Especially, as you've mentioned, the later season-themed areas like the lovely Autumn-coated Laverre city

It's been a ride, going back to the older titles recently, and seeing just how beautiful the pixel art was. The backgrounds, environments, characters and mood during the ladder gen 4 era was just so idk, eye-opening?
