It’s funny how catastrophically awful the marketing for this movie about a dying country being released by a dying studio was. I don’t think they could have done a worse job if they tried.  This will ...

you really gotta wonder what was going on in their heads with that song holly is so locked into this one currently.

really puts the trauma in head trauma cinema cannot recommend. genuinely baffled by michael showalter's career.

Lot of fun. Probably my “least” favorite Cregger movie but still a blast. Abrams is a star. Like, he just has the juice. All the little scenes of him mutter yelling under his breath killed me, so much...

they didn't really sound like pavement. they CERTAINLY didn't sound like built to spill. it's giving nada surf, folks. fun movie. nice little feature. not going to end the world or anything but i enjo...

how spending any more than 48 hours in new york city feels. he should have just gone to cbgb's one night. unreal movie. what needs to be said about it that hasn't already been said. i guess just that ...

real reaping sowing tweet of "haha this kristofferson guy seems awesome, what a hunk, just a real nice guy" into "ah shit well that sucks I don't think he should have done that crap" what a picture. r...

Usually when I post in here that something is head injury cinema it is, as I’m sure you can imagine, tone negative. This is head injury neutral at least if not head injury positive. Definitely a bit w...

a bit weaker/lackadasical story-wise than marty would hammer out with this world in the future but some knockout unreal all-timer performances. i so wish this was a schoonmaker joint but alas. you can...

Still don’t really know why this fucking needed to be Thee Anthony Bourdain Movie, probably because they wouldn’t let Matt make this movie otherwise, but the soundtrack had the modern lovers, Richard ...

🥴 Barb innocent but 🥴

kind of shocked how little of this worked at all. spent like 45 minutes just repeatedly like "what are we doing here." and that's before the conclusion with the absolute bonehead neanderthal numbskull...

holly's current obsession at the house. anita and roger seem like a fun hang. deeply relatable stuff from rolly and lucky. all i want is my tv and my foodies too. good dogs.

anti-Paw Patrol household and ACAB includes Marshall. little dipshit dog. ruin another truck you moron. rutabaga innocent. i would avoid this with the plague but there is nothing that can come between...

i wouldn't say this is strictly speaking "a good movie" but the jokes are so specific and so designed to hit perfectly for me that i really enjoyed it. jake + mary chemistry beating the brakes off the...

doesn't feel like it knew what movie it wanted to be and committed the cardinal sin of wasting monica barbaro's time. i think callum is a good actor and will make for a good James Bond but him deliver...

I might have liked this? They might have cooked with the Sadie casting? There is a lot of dumb MCU bullshit in this and the villain doesn’t matter at allllll but the Manchester by the Sea-ing of Peter...

I don't care for BS. I don't care to hear it, I don't care to speak it. a classic picture. everyone firing on every cylinder.

you are fucked in the head and spirit if you are one of the absolute weirdos who thinks the third act of this thing doesn't fucking fly.

only one SICK FUCK throughout the course of filmmaking is/was talented and twisted in the mind enough to make this movie. ultimatley the first half hour of this prior to damon beginning to recite his ...

the people's favorite nolan flick. a perfect movie. first time i saw this in the theater it cooked my noodle. as a teen, i was fully wrapped up in the twist and the execution of the tricks/the obsessi...

"Don't try to understand it. Feel it." really the uhh tenet of this movie and, with a few exceptions, nolan's career as a whole. everything that hits the senses in this movie rocks. visuals, score, so...

lot of terrible people in this, maybe most so the guy who uttered the phrase "you just got skeeted" to someone whose life he ruined while they were sobbing. pretty gut wrenching seeing the filmmaker's...

two of the best stars of their generation that will probably never end up in real movies anyone cares about again but hoo brother this thing stinks outside of them.

if only michael mann could direct every biopic (i am choosing to ignore the existence of public enemies at this moment) probably the best will performance. insane jamie foxx stuff. really every perfor...

Comparing this to Babylon is offensive and should lead to a banning of your LB account.  Holly was extremely bored by everyone except Dort. Kid loved a robot.

An absolutely baffling picture. Stacy keach narration? Like twelve Bruno Mars songs?? Holly was not locked in and I cannot blame her.

barely a movie yes but i ask you this: what is better than hearing preston lacy scream "oh fuck goddammit" as he gets sandwiched between two cacti pretty much nothing. almost teared up at several knox...

Thought this was mostly whatever. Some good moments and a lot of what are we doing here. They can probably stop making these and that would be okay. Have to imagine the weirdos giving this 5* have nev...

equal parts the green knight, the road and, like, unforgiven lol. loved it. you think it's one thing after the first half hour (that thing probably being the most gnarly major studio movie since the n...

not going to give this one a star rating because it feels impossible to rate. without revealing too much, this hit a little too close to home/too much of a documentary into the lives of people i am cl...

all we have is now yeah this is great stuff. i really hope that trey edward shults' detour with abel tesfaye doesn't place him in director jail because he is 3/3 outside of that one. liked this more o...

some of the least energy in a movie ever. certainly not good and not enough risks taken or ideas farted out to even be bad. "this feels like tv" to the nth degree. i don't want it to be over, least of...

big apatow doesn't want you to know this is one of the best comedies of the 00s holly absolutely loved the donkey like fucking obviously like of course she did

haven't seen it in over a decade, might as well be a first viewing. as a movie with a plot and characters and performances, i largely didn't give a crap about this thing at all and think Malick just f...

shit from a butt, i am afraid. one of the few examples of fake movies within a movie maybe being better than the movie itself.

cute! at the risk of being a total blowhard loser dipshit moron, basically everything about this falls apart if you think about it for more than five seconds (why would the bank give her money to inve...
