I was today years old when I learned that the Japanese for daisy-chain is "daisy-chain". They literally use the English word. Really disappointed there's not some poetic Japanese expression to mean the same thing.

Taking part involves an online questionnaire and would be much appreciated.

Happy Father’s Day to the wonderful @expert-sleepers.co.uk who, it turns out, has been the poster child (with child) for the wonderful @sedgwickmuseum.bsky.social for the past 3 years, which we only recently found out! (Permissions were given to take photos back in the day!) Fabulous.

From firmware v1.7.0 the disting NT has a C++ API, allowing you to write your own algorithms as plug-ins. There is also support for converting DSP code written in Faust to the module. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYje...

Firmware v1.7.0 for the disting NT is now released. Notably, there is now a C++ plug-in API, and a toolchain for converting all the lovely DSP programs written in Faust. Also, significant updates to the Looper and the Kirbinator. #expertsleepers #eurorack #modularsynth #distingnt #faustdsp

disting NT firmware v1.6.0 is released. The big news this time is Lua scripting. Also the pitch tracker/harmonizer from the disting EX has been ported.

Played my first gig with the Positive Grid Spark Link wireless thingie on the sax. It is *so nice* not to have to worry about tripping over or tangling cables.
