The last red squirrels died out on Exmoor in the late 1960’s due to the Squirrel Pox Virus carried by the introduced North American Eastern Grey Squirrel (which is immune to the disease). Do you remember seeing a Red Squirrel on or around Exmoor? Share your memories with us?

Saturday, 26 September Glenthorne Beach — one of Exmoor’s most remote beaches.
Very few people visit this beautiful part of the Exmoor coastline, but throughout the year, large amounts of ocean debris and fishing gear are washed ashore. Much of this waste is collected from the beach and stored in one of the ruins just above the shoreline.
