2/2 Because of how respectful the story is on its status as a slave, I think having it be non-white only enhances the complexity and adds to the visual imagery of finding its place and community. It’s really exciting to see that kind of story told. (I like the cheek bones!)

I don’t want you to feel piled on but on a personal level - it would mean a lot to me to see a non-white murderbot. When I read the books I am reminded of the stolen generation in Aboriginal Australia and how it feels to try and reconnect with your people. (In this case - that would be PresAux) 1/2

It's so weird. I've been both interviewed and interviewed people who have brought in a coffee or similar drink with them. Even a bottle of water is fine and normal - although it's pretty standard to have some water and glasses available since people get nervous... if it's not alcoholic, go for it?
