I sure hope FireFox adds @functions into css at some point :*)
A screenshot of a code editor showing some css code. Near the top is a block of code that works in Chrome browsers that can utilize at-rule functions and is using a custom function called "repeat" to repeat a value 250 times.

Below that is another block of code prefaced with the comment, "for safari and fire fox... I'm so sorry" and then 250 individual uses of the css "attr" function, taking up a majority of the screenshot.

looking at the State of JavaScript 2025 results and being blown away by the amount of people complaining about the JS's dynamic nature while also being entertained at the false-positive comments that they flagged as being about the type system only because it contains the word "type" or "dynamic"

Finally settled on WebStorm (@webstorm.jetbrains.com) as my new code editor. Took a bit to figure out how to hack around not being able to change the scrollbar color / opacity in the High Contrast theme (which I'm pretty sure is a bug), but beyond that, it has been a pleasure to use.

The biggest issue with using XSLT long term is that when writing out CSS selectors for targeting HTML elements, my brain will pivot to thinking in XPath syntax out of habit.

You can always tell your partner is the right one when you need to make a "we ask you to respect our family's request for privacy as we navigate this difficult situation" sounding-ass post as your opening announcement of the relationship
A screenshot of a twitter post by Tiger Woods that shows two pictures of him and Vanessa Trump with whom he is announcing a relationship with.

The text of the post reads "Love in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts."

The first image under the text shows Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump, both smiling, standing against a white wall with ivy growing up it.

The second picture shows them both during the daytime lying in an embrace on what could be an outdoor garden bed or hammock.

Been playing around with the idea of using Maps instead of objects for things that will be accessed using user inputs (for the key), and have settled on a structure that seems sufficiently Object-Like enough so as to not be too difficult to visually parse what's going on... I think...
a screenshot of JavaScript code showing the defining of an object literal. The code reads:

var capitals = {
  "CA": {
    "AB": "Edmonton",
    "BC": "Victoria",
    "MB": "Winnipeg",
  },
  "US": {
    "AL": (year) => {
      if (year < 1846) { return "Tuscaloosa"; }
      return "Montgomery"
    },
    "AK": "Juneau",
    "AR": "Phoenix",
  },
}a screenshot of JavaScript code showing the defining of a Map that produces a structure that is nearly identical to that of the previous screenshot. The code reads:

var capitals = (new Map())
.set("CA", (new Map())
  .set("AB", "Edmonton")
  .set("BC", "Victoria")
  .set("MB", "Winnipeg"))
.set("US", (new Map())
  .set("AL", function(year){
    if (year < 1846) {
      return "Tuscaloosa";
    }
    return "Montgomery";
  })
  .set("AK", "Juneau")
  .set("AR", "Phoenix")
);
