Following our recent conference, Exeter Green Party would like to reassure local residents that we continue to work with all communities across our city to build an Exeter that is safe and welcoming for everyone.
A statement on three graphics which says:

Exeter Green Party is clear that our commitment to Palestinian liberation goes hand in hand with protecting Jewish people's safety, dignity and belonging in our party, our city and beyond. Palestinian freedom and the security of Jewish people are not competing principles.

Nationally and locally, the Green Party has always opposed all forms of racism and discrimination, including antisemitism. We remain a party that welcomes all regardless of their background, faith, or place of worship.

We will continue to listen, act with compassion and work with all communities across our city to build an Exeter that is safe and welcoming for everyone."

Councils have spent months preparing for local government reorganisation, at considerable expense. Now Labour is reviewing the whole process. It’s time for the government to end the chaos and give councils the certainty they deserve.
Quote from Adrian Ramsay that says: Council and the communities they represent will be angry at the huge drain on time and money this agenda has caused.

The government must recognise its responsibilities to the wellbeing of thousands of local government staff, elected members and those who rely on council services and make clear their intentions.

😔 Those least responsible for creating climate breakdown are paying the highest price. 🌏 Climate justice means the wealthiest nations paying for the loss and damage caused by our current and historic emissions.

Last week Zack demanded that the UK government hold an emergency COBR meeting in response to the climate emergency. The Prime Minister Andy Burnham has finally listened to this call; the PM must set out his plans for how will keep this country safe today and how he will prepare for threats to come.
A quote graphic from Zack Polanski leader of the Green Party saying: "When the country is burning and people are dying, the PM had to call this meeting. But this is only a first step. What we urgently need is concrete action. That must include taxing fossil fuel giants to pay for firefighting helicopters, a cool space in every community, and a maximum working temperature. The prime minister must also commit to no new oil and gas extraction in the North Sea. We cannot negotiate with the science."
