Is it total coincidence, or did Alex Scott's absence hurt Bournemouth really bad...

FPL Sleepy Jedi @executorazmin.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

I'm one of those seemingly deluded fantasy managers still holding on to Gabriel. Are his goalscoring ways done? Are Arsenal no longer Setpiece FC?

I've been asked why I'm still playing the game, given how badly my season has gone after GW1, and my lack of posts during the break. Am I disheartened? A bit, but I admit I haven't played well, not a reason to quit completely. Real life got in the way too. I need to improve, and play smarter.

Up to 6m from 7.4m. I need to figure out Brighton. Sure, they have Europe, but man they look solid...

Spending this international break focused on real life, while at the same time reflecting on what is possibly the worst start to the season after a misleading strong BB GW1. With only 2 GWs away before my planned wildcard, I can't see myself activating it now. Just have to grin and bear it!

Made 2 transfers. Both blanked. Rank dropped from 6.7m to 7.1m. Am I done for the season? Like hell I am. You can't keep a poor FPL player down forever. If I need to bounce from the very bottom I'll do it! Now, someone lend me a trampoline...

I just realised KDH can be both: - Kiernan Dewsbury Hall - Kpop Demon Hunters If the second option can break records, the first option should be able to do the same too! Go go go!

Captained Isak, not Thiago. Yeah like it's had any difference lol

FPL Sleepy Jedi @executorazmin.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

This week, the dark horse captaincy pick has got to be Bruno Fernandes. Do we really think City's defense is good enough to keep United out? I don't think so. There'll be a lot of counter-attacking opportunity from United, and Fernandes is gonna be at the heart of it all!

FPL Sleepy Jedi @executorazmin.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

For better or worse, no real issues with benching dilemmas this week. The Sleepy Jedis GW4: Rank 5.2m. Yeah, no Chelsea player. Wirtz/KDH to Rogers? Don't feel it's much of an improvement. Bruno to Palmer? Just don't see it. Thiago to Pedro? Almost, but not quite. <gulp>

The time may have come for me to decide whether Gabriel is really a set and forget option. The setpiece goal threats haven't happened, and Konsa turning up as such a nice budget option makes it tough. Maybe after the IB.

FPL Sleepy Jedi @executorazmin.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Last season it wasn't so hard to bench KDH. We could justify that. At 6.5 it's a lot harder. Especially now, when he's effectively the heart of the Everton attack. Nope can't do it. KDH, you're in.

The biggest challenge of no Haaland teams always seems to be figuring out who to bench. Once again, I have someone who got double digits, sitting there.... Don't regret my captaincy, Fulham scored, just wasn't him. Next week will be tough, but need to stop the rot now! Yes, ranks matter now!

The question I've wanted answered for a few seasons now. Most of my fellow content creators keep saying rank now is irrelevant So WHEN does it become relevant? Because for me it's relevant from GW2 onwards...

SIX SEVEEEEENN all out. Well hopefully I've got that rebellious blood out of my system early. All my available bench options would have scored more than the players who I ended up choosing. And the captaincy attempt was foolhardy, admittedly. No where to go but up! Hopefully...

Yes, DCL is Leeds' penalty taker. But what is the rate of Leeds actually getting penalties this season, with the team in mind? I'd be surprised if they get more than 3 all season.

000 0

FPL Sleepy Jedi @executorazmin.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Yes, Leeds are a more solid team now, I agree. But I think we're overblowing DCL as a prospect, I really do lol

It feels like we are collectively dismissing the opening victories of Hull and Ipswich, at least where FPL is concerned. Yes it's only one game, but if there's one thing I can take away from those matches, it's desire. Those teams had it. Their opponents? Not so much.

Trying to decide whether I wanna spend a transfer to deal with Sarr. At the moment feel like just using my bench. Admittedly, players like Sangare and Henshelwood are very very tempting. Benching Sarr at least reduces my benching headache though..

Gonzalo Gomez has definitely got lots of potential. Really need to decide whether the supply line is there. Palacios clearly brought in to help. But very very tempting. Feel like he could be better than my current Brobbey...
