I see he's going with the "just following orders" excuse. I suppose the "We didn't know" excuse (Wir haben es nicht gewußt) is already well beyond its use date ...

Over 200 people and about 80 organisations were "nominated" world-wide, including Zelensky, and the people of Minneapolis. Whether they were ever seriously considered eligible is another matter, but there is a list of confirmed nominees, and it includes Trump: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_No...

Trust me, she's not taking this heat because of how she looks. She's taking that heat because of standing next to Donald Trump. Her looks just make it easier to mock her. Just like most people didn't go out and kill a UnitedHealthcare CEO, but felt little sympathy for him when someone did.

That's not Mar-a-Lago-face, that's a person with too much money reacting in an extremely unhealthy way to getting older. Actually, that probably still describes many of the people in Trump's orbit ...

I had no idea Karoline Levitt at some point used to look like Jess Piper (@piperformissouri.bsky.social ). Hate really does make people look ugly

Sometimes, people's looks just happen to match their soul. I think this is a good example of that. It doesn't mean anyone who's not good looking is a bad person, but sometimes a bad person has the face they deserve, and that's OK.

I have no idea who Navi Pillay is (and will probably find out all about her soon), but I think there was no one on the list of nominees who was less deserving of the Nobel peace prize than Trump.

Not quite ... They plan on INSINUATING there was cheating. But that doesn't work if there were outside observers there who say everything was totally fine.

Erika Kirk reveals she wears husband Charlie’s blood-stained pendant that was ripped from his neck as he died
Grieving widow Erika Kirk has revealed she wears the blood-stained keepsake that her husband Charlie was wearing when he was shot.

Well, since they didn't really do anything with it to further their investigation, one wonders why they kept it. Meanwhile, Erika Kirk was quick to wave around Charlie's cross necklace, which they returned to her immediately, even though it actually had blood evidence all over it.

A large portion of the people who never progressed beyond primary school biology (applying a kindergartner's level logic and reasoning to EVERYTHING in life), are the same kind of under-educated religious nutters adhering to intelligent design and a 6000 year old (usually flat) earth.

Not gonna lie, for a split second I thought this story was going to take a darker turn and say that she was found swinging from a tree just like her great grandfather 90 years before. I like this ending much more.

True, neither he nor Kamala ultimately showed people how they would handle Gaza other than to keep the status quo (i.e. allow Israel to continue the genocide and keep giving them the weapons to do it). Which was pretty much what Trump guaranteed he intended to do as well. Beachfront property.

Bezos is not even paying his employees enough money RIGHT NOW so they need to rely on food stamps or other government assistance to stay afloat. So reducing the amount of people needed to run the business means he'll suddenly start paying everyone MORE money? No lay-offs? The math isn't mathing...

Some of them don't even believe in gravity, but some sort of "intelligent falling" (I'm not even kidding). They constantly refer to buoyancy, but seem unable to understand how that also requires gravity to determine what side things float to. And they think space is a giant vacuum cleaner ...

This explains flat-earthers too: Gravity: 1. pre-school: stuff drops to the floor 2. elementary school: masses attract 3. high school: Newtonian physics 4. college: gravity wells, relativity, time-dilation 5. astrophysics: string theory, quantum weirdness Flat-earthers are stuck somewhere around 2

Carpet also muffles footsteps, which, particularly if a home was ever rented out as multiple apartments, could explain why a landlord would cover it with carpet. That and the fact that wood with 'character' (e.g. blemishes such as knots, now seen as natural beauty) was once considered poor quality.

I'm glad to hear they didn't immediately re-arrest him as he was walking out ... Unlike some other people ICE ... 'released' ... after the courts ordered them to.

I suspect there might be some asylum seekers ICE rounded up and neglected to give insulin or heart medication or, you know, basic first aid when they cracked their skull. So your point is valid: they're likely a minority in some other way. But I also don't want to be the "not all men" person here.

Actually more likely on the last day before he leaves office. Just like last time. But if they have any balls (which remains to be seen) they'll have impeached every single one of the yes men (and women) in his cabinet by then.

To be fair, I'm sure those can exist, but it'll take you 2 hours of searching to find, let alone verify, 1 example. Whereas a cursory 2 minute google will yield at least half a dozen women, from multiple different reliable sources, in just the last year alone. And that imbalance is the real point.

I think it should be even more than that. He and his family should have all their ill-gotten earnings impounded, and that money used to clean up all the places he demolished or added his name.

The most chilling part is that a single nut-job with a suitcase full of pipe bombs could decide to target LAX's departure hall and suddenly all of Europe also has to send soldiers to die in service of Israel simply because of NATO's article 5. That's the point of that speech, IMO ...

It's not as if Iran has long range missiles that can reach the US. They can barely reach central Europe. The real question is which other nations (China, Russia, both) is he inviting to take out the Pacific fleet? A "date of infamy" speech is the only thing that will help him out of this quagmire.

Or he's hoping the Chinese are stupid enough to do a Pearl Harbor repeat and start WW3. Who knows what this guy is thinking as his brain is melting away in real time due to Alzheimer's. One thing is clear: he's clearly not fit to be the president. Wasn't before, definitely isn't any more now.

They're definitely preparing for a ground war after the midterms, so invading Iran. He's just looking for a pretext to still be able launch it when the GOP inevitably loses its majorities in the House and the Senate.

Of course it doesn't. But the fact their entire line of prepared questioning relied on being able to insinuate something shady happened and Amy Klobuchar just undermined that in seconds by proving Jack Smith was 600 miles away in another city exposes just how baseless their conspiracy theory was.
070
exarch @exarch404.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
Exactly! All of their questions were based on being abel to insinuate that he was in Atlanta and could have secretly met with Fany Willis, only to have it definitively confirmed that he was 600 miles away in a completely different city at that exact moment.

I'm honestly starting to think the AI scare is just a way for the tech bros to artificially inflate the bubble (like the .com bubble in the early 2000's) and quickly rake in a bunch more investment money before the inevitable crash, when it turns out AI has reached it's current maximum potential.

And not once but TWICE he repeated the lie that Jack Smith perjured himself in the past (because they have no clue what toll records are). Because even now, it's all about smearing the guy who dared to prosecute their lord and savior Donald Trump ...

Just remember: All of this was a feeble attempt to make Jack Smith admit that he was in Atlanta the day after Fany Willis admitted to her relationship with Nathan Wade. Even if he HAD been there, it still wouldn't PROVE anything. It was always just a sound-bite to insinuate he was hiding something

I think that damage was always there. Trump is and always has been election poison. Republicans couldn't win a primary WITHOUT his blessing, but also couldn't win a general election WITH his endorsement. That second part at least still holds true.
