imo Rinascita has the best antagonist so far in Cristoforo, and Lahai-Roi has the best ally/focus character in Aemeath

it's not "too soon" for V7 it's actually perfectly on schedule, i think it's just that we've had consistent V6 new voicebank releases compared to V5 era not having as much

030

lotus睡蓮 ✧ @exaltlotus.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

i got curious with vocaloid version release dates, so for perspective: V1: 2004 V2: 2007 (3 years after) V3: 2011 (4 years) V4: 2014 (3 years) V5: 2018 (4 years) V6: 2022 (4 years) V7: 2026 (4 years)

also, probably don't need to worry about this, but my birthday is in like. 4 days. the 14th. i would like to kindly request that you don't bring up anyone else who might have that birthday that i don't know personally. just putting a precaution but i trust most of y'all will be respectful abt it 🫡

BIG UP is helpful for vocalsynth releases... I think trying to credit the vocalsynths, especially by their original JP name, gets you errored in Western-based distribution services. Also hopefully I can register ZETHIEL as an official YT music channel soon.

020

lotus睡蓮 ✧ @exaltlotus.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I caught up with submitting some of my stuff onto streaming services. I'm using multiple distributors now depending on the release ✌️ Distrokid I'm staying on it for now out of pure convenience. LANDR is nice but too much hassle to move fully. But I'm also using BIG UP! concurrently now

000

lotus睡蓮 ✧ @exaltlotus.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

there will be no transmasc representation, acceptance, or liberation for as long as i live and it is useless for me to try to strive to be the "representation" myself because so many opportunities are gated to me, it doesn't matter what my skills are, being transmasc already killed my hopes

000

lotus睡蓮 ✧ @exaltlotus.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

it's useless to have hope, it's useless to try, it's better to stay low and not expect anything, or else you will destroy yourself from how hopeless and cruel the world is. i may be on HRT for many years, i may have gotten top surgery, but i just feel like things have only gotten worse for us

100

lotus睡蓮 ✧ @exaltlotus.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

if i must be completely honest, there's been a major internal system shift that's been very distressing, and honestly thinking about the cause of the breakdowns, it's the culmination of this domino effect that... at its core, it's this idea that "people like me will never make it in this world"

120

lotus睡蓮 ✧ @exaltlotus.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

i'm not sure what this means but i think, i think of mixing more from a musical perspective than a technical perspective
