🛣️ Kazbegi/Kavtaradze — safety islands dismantled. Looks like a panicked reaction to Rustaveli traffic closure — but each decision is a serious safety failure on its own.

Kazbegi/Kavtaradze at night: barriers and cones piled where a safety island was removed, two pedestrians crossing, cars at a red light, lit apartment building behind.

(After): Current photo of the same stretch of Kazbegi Ave, showing the bike lane, bus lane, and turn lane markings erased, replaced with an additional right-turn lane.

Quick Tbilisi urbanistic degradation made by panic decisions of incompetent people: 🚸 Liberty Square — crossing removed, fence welded shut. New crossing 50+ meters off the natural line, forcing an extra 80 meters walk; cars can't see pedestrians due to the road curve. #Tbilisi

A wrought-iron fence blocking the former pedestrian crossing near Liberty Square at night, with the crossing point sealed off.

By the stupid logic of georgian police who don't even know their own Traffic Law (especially article 42.3) riding here should be fined. But actually it's completely normal situation where cyclist should be riding in the right lane of the road when there is no infrastructure.

AI (Claude 3.5 Sonnet)

Started to play #Control, really impressed with art design and use of architecture in the game

A screenshot from the video game Control, showing a character in silhouette standing in a doorway. The hallway ahead features distinctive brutalist architecture with a red carpet, stark white walls, and a geometric pattern of circular lights on the ceiling. A sign reading 'Director's Office' is visible in the distance. The scene has a moody, atmospheric lighting that's characteristic of the game's supernatural office setting.

Tried #ZenBrowser several months ago – was unusable. Tried today – less bugs, but still unusable. For example you can't resize side bar. Kinda critical thing on small notebook screens. Another example: impossible to create keyboard shortcut for previous/next tab switching.
